looking at his family from the outside-in, it would seem like mason had a comfortable childhood. which, to be fair, he did. he grew up in one of the nicest neighborhoods in perth, on the western coast, well known for it’s perfect surfing waves. he never struggled for anything. however, his relationship with his father was strained.

mason came from a very ambitious family. his parents seemed to believe more pressure equaled more success, whether that be in school, sports, business. mason, unlike his siblings, crumbled under that pressure. he gave up on school and became the kid that sat in the back and had the whole class laughing. his grades were just passing, and if they weren’t, a couple of calls from his father fixed that.

born in seattle and raised by a single dad, rebel was a rock loving liberal from day one; his first stuffed animal being an ‘ozzy osborne’ inscribed bat. despite his hearing loss, his father made sure to show him the beauty of music and how fucking cool the alternative fashion scene was.

with books and music filling the void, it was a no-brainer that he’d pick up guitar and songwriting at the young age of five. this helped him immensely in school, his prior knowledge of vocabulary and spelling made spelling bees a breeze.

life had its hard moment, no kid liked being bullied for having to wear a hearing aid or painting his finger nails black. he ignored the early signs of his nonbinary gender and didn’t fully accept it until he was out of school in fear of being bullied.

after graduating high school, rebel found peace with his gender identity and sexuality; starting to make videos on the internet to help him save up to relocate to key passion and start a career that made him feel free: escorting.
