Headcanon: The weaknesses that Dark type Pokémon have (Bug, Fighting & Fairy) also reflects on Grimsley's personal dislikes. For Fairy types he just finds them incredibly annoying to battle against and their type matchup advantages.
((That’s actually p true. He started off with a natural dislike and distrust of bug, fairy and fighting. Because of something that happened to him bug types are big fear of his. He still has the dislike and distrust of fairy types, but he’s pretty neutral to fighting types because he has to spend a lot of time around them because there is a fighting type specialist in the Elite Four))
