It’s uh…

I’m a hoarder. I have diagnosed OCD and this is one of the ways it presents in me. The ADHD does not help matters, and I am one of those people who had their mum picking up after them (until she died, then dad hired college students to clean house and I would work alongside them but somehow it never ingrained cleaning into me) and never really learned to do it myself.

Well I now live alone in an ~790-800 sq ft place with my dog with no one supervising me for three years, a year of a roommate which was stressing in other ways, and then back to being alone for the past 6 months and I told myself I’d get it all under control after RM moved out and boy howdy the place has never been this bad.

I’m gonna take an hour long nap to recharge because I wake up stupid early go work. Then I am going to loop you poor, poor internet people into my shame, because if there’s one thing I know about the internet it is that it is both the most encouraging AND belittling places to be!

I’m going to take a picture of the area I plan on working on for at least half an hour after I wake up. I am going to post it. I am NOT going to take it down until next Tuesday.

If I don’t post an updated picture of the progress by midnight, I give each and every one of you one comment to point it out how you see fit 😁 because this isn’t a horrible idea at all! I’m tired of faceplanting because of random shit but don’t care enough about myself to do something about it. But I DO care about random strangers on the internet and their opinions!

the mild adrenaline wore off and i am. surprisingly tired and spacy.

PS- I got past the conventional torture part in Murtagh. Mid. BDSM claws? Just those and mental torture? Bachel, honey, you have a creature that gives you weird and wild ass dreams. That you're not going past that and a few nerve tweaks (ngl I'm a bit salty I thought the nerve torture was sorta uh...my thing but that's my ego talking) is just...just so disappointing. You had Durza there. Motherfucking flaming headed fuckboi! Just...absolute waste. I know it worked but it's...okay this is awful but yes, it worked more because you were torturing Thorn rather than the damage done to Murtagh. Murtagh will always cave when Thorn is tortured. All the Chaos Trio Dragon Riders would fold if their partners/loved ones were being harmed. My babby girl included! There are two reasons why Glen was not captured despite being alive, and this is one of them!

I'm tired. I wanted some fresh ideas from that but...smfh. The depiction of fading in and out, mind muddled and out of it even when not on stinky old lady breath was good, but come on. Give us more meat!

Hey you lot.

Some of you already know, but I’m located in the lower portion of north-central Florida. It is currently very wet. It will soon be pretty windy.

I’m staying off my phone electronics so they stay as charged as possible without overloading the batteries with constant charging. I’m not coastal, and my area is typically an evac location for everyone else, so it’s pretty safe. I’m not in immediate danger and it should stay that way most of the hurricane.

To my coasties, be safe and be smart, turn around don’t drown, listen to your radios and don’t do what someone in my city did last hurricane and try to siphon gas from random cars in the peek of the storm because yes it is indeed Florida and someone will shoot you in the leg.

I know there’s been a distinct lack of proper content lately and I have a lot of reasons and excuses.

- fucked up hands are fucked up and getting worse

- passing of the meager torch of my coworker to the new Gremling

- bathroom remodel

- eepy Ket

- wanting to wait for the Wisdom Saga from EPIC to drop before I do any more work on animatics

- it’s hot

- I got no mojo

- I literally need my fucked up hands to do work AND do MIC stuff (typing, drawing, model set ups) and I unfortunately only get paid for one of these things so I have to prioritize using what I have in the tank for my dumb hands to use for work each day and ice/hot bottle/splint/rest them when I get home when I’d usually be doing MIC stuff

So yeah. Hoping to be a bit better next week but we’ll see.

…I promise the story does NOT involve the ‘fear of serious injury’ warnings on the 1-head, that was just where I happened to be slacking off and taking pics. My injuries are from stuff that was waaaay more stupid and preventable.
