15. Kess is incredibly passionate about family and the home he’s lost. Disrespecting his family or his culture is a sure fire way to make him angry. He also doesn’t appreciate anyone inferring he is less caring or sentient because his society functions differently from many mammalian based ones. Really, approaching anything to do with who he is and how his people work with an intention of pointing out that it’s ‘heartless’ or 'cruel’ will infuriate him beyond belief. Also, being Galra. That’ll do it too.
27. Kessian doesn’t speak many languages masterfully, but he’s a jack of all trades in communication nonetheless. His home world, Auremarus, had its own set of minimally different languages that spawned from the same source society, of which Kessian could speak two; the northern temperate dialect and the arctic dialect. It’s a language very grounded in guttural noises and rolled consonants, and the arctic dialect employs a heavy accent that is made by holding one’s tongue constantly near the roof of their mouth. He can also speak common/basic (or what have you in regards to common communication throughout the galaxy), and he picks up key words from any planet’s local language as he needs to.
58. While he does appreciate social situations in which he can interact and learn from others, Kessian leading a nomadic lifestyle doesn’t leave much room for having long term friends. Added to that the fact that in many ways he’s still grieving the loss of his family and his entire home planet, he tends to shy away from too much social contact and very much appreciates his solitude as well, as it’s far more helpful with helping him ground himself when he feels like he’s falling apart.
