        the war was finally over. the empire had fallen. darth vader and his puppet master were long gone. balance was returned to the galaxy. life could finally move forward. and luke was ready for that. he’d been caught in a whirlwind of emotions after everything that had conspired and quite frankly, all he wanted was to catch a break. leia, of course, wanted him to stay and help rebuild all that had been destroyed. he would have, too, if his heart hadn’t been pulling him in the opposite direction. 

han: she’s napping in the falcon, don’t bother her

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐒, she could hear him laughing as she took the helmet off. The weapon in her hand sheathed once more and clipped to her belt as she narrowed her eyes at him. “ Something amusing you, Solo ? ” Leia knew what Han thought about the Force and what Obi Wan had been trying to teach her before... well, before. What she didn’t get was why he was determined to watch her run the drills with the training droid regardless ?

“ 𝐘𝐎𝐔’𝐕𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐄. ”  He stated, Ben’s tone steady to not give way to the disappointment he felt at the sight of his mother missing from the reunion. “ ...but this isn’t just her being busy is it ? Something’s wrong. Dad ? What is it ? ”   A note of worry broke through the calm exterior he tried to maintain --- control yourself, don’t let your emotions get the better of you.
