If I had to narrow it down to one trait, it was her confidence especially her ability to recover after being startled or scared.  I was very interested in harness training my next cat, and potentially even training her as a demonstration animal.  This requires a completely stable cat who is comfortable around strangers and new environments. 

I also really loved her energy.  It reminded me so much of Skitten when she was a tiny little hellraiser kitten.  Don’t get me wrong, Yardstick was also a ball of chaos, but it was in a different way.  Yardstick’s energy was always focused on a specific goal.  Saia’s energy is different.  She’s a cat who will tackle your feet as you walk by.  She’s just out to have fun.  That IS her goal. 

I’m hoping that she and Yardstick will play together.  I think he’d really like having a cat friend.  Hopefully that’ll keep him from harassing Kaylee so often; the old lady has earned her rest. 

I’m very glad it arrived! Now you can puzzle over what it’s supposed to smell like too.

hoo boy this sent me down a rabbit hole.

long story short: no, i unfortunately have no idea what happened to this webcomic. i first checked the tag on my blog to remind myself what it was because its been three odd years since that original post. i checked the comic’s official twitter, which has no tweets, followed the link in it’s bio to the comic’s domain to...............find a site for actual grass care. huh.

I do have a ko-fi!  It’s very kind of you, but please don’t feel obligated to.  I’m not in a dire emergency yet.  It might become an emergency later, but I’m stable for the time being. 

We don’t have an update on when we can repopulate the town.  I’ve tentatively arranged another week’s hotel stay and that’s going to add up.  At least the next hotel will have a microwave, so that’s something.
