Remind me not to make a smooth surface design for my next mask, I am so tired of raking and smoothing. Salvaging my 1/6 head sculpt with some amazing teeny rakes by @wwwkenstoolscom ! They have been perfect for smoothing out the planes on such a small piece. Totally shat up the mold thanks to not applying mold release and sealing from rubbing alcohol contamination ( isopropyl is used to smooth clay) . Certain silicones cures can be inhibited by isopropyl. I’ve known this for years but we all make rookie mistakes once in awhile.
