I know I said I’m pretty much over them but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t still mad at how they ended. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t still mad at how they never got a real chance to be a couple. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t still mad that every time they had a moment, some fuckery had to follow. I’m over Kennifer, but I’m not over how Kennifer was done dirty for 3 fucking seasons. Even if there’s room for Kennifer to reunite in the Painkiller spin-off(once it’s greenlit), I wouldn’t even waste my energy getting excited because Kennifer stans have been let down so much.
I’ll admit that I didn’t watch Season 4 of Black Lightning. After I heard that China was leaving, I wasn’t interested. But damn, they didn’t give the fans not one Kennifer scene in the last season? I was looking for clips on YouTube to see how they closed out their storyline and found nothing. Did they have scenes together but nobody posted it? What happened?
