Since I did one for Ake, Kelrec deserves some love too. My headcanon is under the impression that he started in cyber/signal troops somehow. He has that nerdy, introvert energy. He had loving parents and a sister. I want to say he's a younger brother, but I can be persuaded otherwise. He rose in ranks because, as nerdy as he is, he is a strategist - and a good leader. He's calm in the face of danger and dares to take the next step. Tea is something he likes, because it's a ritual he can always rebuild - and take with him. When worlds are destroyed and people killed he choose to love and learn something that can't be taken away. I also imagine his parents drank tea, so it still connects him to home. He grew up in a simple home, but I doubt he ever felt poor. He noticed the chaos around him, but his parents gave him and his sister stability - and it’s now what he strives to bring to his cadets.
