What's your advice on extending your range? I'm a soprano (classically trained; I fall under lyric rather than coloratura). I can go comfortably up to a High C and have Ds and maybe Es, but they're not as easy.
Our modal range ends around that range, and you may not be able to get up to those sixth octave notes in your modal range. Some people need to be in their whistle register in order to sing these notes consistently. Also, keep in mind that our notes in the sixth octave will not be as rich as our high 5th octave, or even our C6. They will be thin, but controlled.
