âItâs going to be full moon this Monday.â Keicho told him while they were comfortably sitting on the couch. Well, Keicho was the one who was sitting down, Josuke had taken the rest of the couch and had laid his head on Keichoâs thighs, letting his boyfriend pet his head like he was a puppy.
However, at those words, his body stilled and looked up at him and noticed that Keicho was looking at him too, his expression contorted in one of concern. Josuke chewed his bottom lip, his eyes full of worry. âWill you be alright?â
Keichoâs fingers that were in his hair tensed for a moment, before they began to pet Josuke again with soft strokes. âYes, but Iâll probably seek you out, can you take it or do you want Okuyasu to chain me in the basement? I know it can be tiring for you to take care of me when Iâm a wolf.â
Josuke took a deep breath, listening to the beat of his heart. Having a werewolf boyfriend wasnât easy, once a month he became a big-ass giant wolf who had only in mind one thing: to go to his mate. It didnât really bother Josuke, but the first time that had happened he had been so scared he had broke down in tears when Keicho had pinned him down the ground. It was the first and only time he had thought Keicho would kill him and he could still feel his feral breath against his skin. It gave him goosebumps even now that he was thinking about it.
After that disastrous first time, they had learned to know each other and the other full moons went better. They didnât really do anything sexual during those (Josuke wasnât a fan of zoophilia so, no, thank you very much), Keicho only needed his presence to calm down and they usually hugged each other until the morning when Keicho could take his human form again.
Josuke sucked a breath and sat up on the couch, taking Keichoâs cheeks between his hands and pressed their lips together. If Keicho was surprised by that gentle gesture, he didnât show it, instead he placed his warm palms on his waist and reciprocated the kiss, pressing his mouth firmly against Josukeâs.
âI donât want to see you in chains, you can come to me when you want⌠I like to cuddle with you when youâre all fluffy.â Josuke giggled, letting his hands travel down until they reached his shoulders and he squeezed them firmly.
When they pulled back, Josuke sighed uncomfortable and lifted one of his arms to adjust the tight binder around his chest. Keicho tilted his head, watching him with interest but he was smart to not move his hands to help him.
âYou know, you can take it off when youâre here, I donât mind it.â Keicho whispered, nuzzling his face against Josukeâs neck, sniffing it deeply to get hold of his sweet scent.
Josuke smiled awkwardly, his hands found their way in Keichoâs blond hair and he began to run his nails in his scalp. âI know, you always tell me⌠but I feel better with it onâŚâ Keicho hummed against his neck and began to kiss it lightly, lingering his lips there for a few seconds. Josuke shuddered, that place was always sensitive and every time Keicho decided it was fun to shower it with attention.
âI know, I donât want to sound demanding or anything, I wonât ask you again if it makes you feel uncomfortable.â Keicho muttered against his skin, lifting his head to smile at Josuke. The boy felt his cheeks turn in deeper shade of red, Keicho was really handsome, even if he was only two years older than him, he had a charm that only an adult had. Josuke didnât mind that at all.
âY-You just want to grope my boobs, admit it.â Josuke said back, trying to lighten the mood. Keicho stared at him for a moment before he chuckled and pressed his face against Josukeâs flat chest.
âWhat are you saying?â He laughed, turning his eyes upwards. âI can do that even now, you know?â Josuke wanted to give him a smart reply, but he was distracted by something else.
Keicho hadnât realized that his wolf ears had come out - they usually did when he was excited or happy - and to Josuke he looked like a smiling puppy rather than a handsome boy now.
Immediately, without saying another word, Josukeâs fingers found Keichoâs fluffy ears and he began to lavish them with attention, carefully handling them like they were the most precious treasure of the world. Keicho let out a soft sigh and closed his eyes in a bliss. It was a pity that his tail hadnât come out too, Josuke missed the opportunity to look at it swing right to left, showing him just how much happy Keicho was in that moment.
âYouâre really cute, my cute giant puppy!â Josuke grinned and pressed his lips against Keichoâs forehead, eyes, cheeks, jaw but he purposely avoided his mouth. He heard him growl under him, but he didnât find it threatening at all. Instead, he lightly bit on his nose and laughed when Keicho let out a soft grunt.
His laughs quickly died down when Keicho tightened his grip around his waist and lifted him up like he weighed nothing. Josuke let out a small scream, he wrapped both of his legs and arms around Keicho, holding him close. He heard his boyfriend chuckling amused, his voice vibrated against his chest. He walked until he was standing in the middle of the room, so Josuke didnât have anything to lean on except for Keicho.
âAre you going to give me a kiss or what?â His boyfriend asked, placing his hands on Josukeâs thighs to have a better grip on him. Josuke pouted, but he couldnât stay mad at him for long, simply because Keichoâs wolf ear were just too adorable and he wanted to touch them again, but he wanted to be sure he wasnât going to fall before he did that.
âAlright, alright, you get your kiss! Jesus, youâre such a demanding puppy when you want to be oneâŚâ Josuke leaned forward and gave a small peck on Keichoâs lips before pulling back after it hadnât even passed a second.
Keicho growled, his ears twitched annoyed, but Josuke simply smiled at him. âYouâll get the rest when youâll put me down.â
Keicho looked like he wanted to disagree with that, but in the end he did as he was told and placed Josuke down, but not after he gave a small squeeze to his round ass. Josuke sighed content, but kept holding Keicho closer to him, taking advantage of the fact that werewolves were warmer than a human being.
âIâm so going to stay away from you during summer⌠youâll make me combust...â Josuke mumbled, nuzzling his face against Keichoâs broad chest. His boyfriend huffed amused, running his nails on his back, making Josuke arch under his touch.
Keicho was a werewolf, Josuke was human, their life was going to be hard, but together they were both sure they could reach the happiness they yearned for.

UPDATE 7/14: FINALLY REVISED! will post a continuation soon!
The Nijimura Household
âAh, this is my big bro, Keicho. Yo! Big bro!â
The only reason Okuyasu bothered to introduce Josuke to his brother one day when he visited after school was because Josuke had been, a little rudely, staring at him. Completely hypnotized. While the two teenagers were sitting at the square table for four in the kitchen drinking soda, Keicho came down to start an early dinner.
Josuke didnât even know Okuyasu had an older brother. He knew Okuyasuâs father was an ill man, which was why he never saw him. His mother had passed away. But Okuyasu said nothing about a sibling, or how Keicho took care of their father full time when he wasnât working full time. Or, Josuke thought, maybe Okuyasu had mentioned his hunk of an older brother, sans the âhunk.â Josuke did have a tendency to mindlessly daydream sometimes while Okuyasu was talking.
âUhâuhm, hi,â he said, with every bit of awkward teenage fiber in his body. âIâm Josuke.â
âOh. Youâre Okuyasuâs friend?â Keicho asked. Josuke bowed his head a little; Keicho reciprocated the action.
âYes! Itâs very nice to meet you, K-Keicho.â
âSure.â
Keicho resumed preparing dinner, not purposely ignoring the two of them though he didnât care to make conversation. Josuke frowned a little. He really wanted to talk to the guy.
Better luck next time, he thought.
And he did have better luck next time. He came over after school to check on Okuyasu, whoâd been sick for two days. He knocked on the door and waited a good ten minutes before it unlatched, and lo and behold stood Keicho in fitted blue pants and a white sleeveless top.
âOh, Josuke, right?â
Josukeâs heart fluttered. He remembered his name.
âY-yeah!â he said, a little too enthusiastically. He sat back on his heels and glanced to the side. âAh, I know Okuâs been sick the past couple of days and I just wanted to check on him. Is he okay?â
âSee for yourself,â Keicho said. He stood aside to let Josuke in; he hurried past Keicho with a hasty bow as thanks. Josuke slipped out of his shoes and put them neatly in a corner of the entryway. Keicho locked the door behind them and took two wide steps in front of Josuke.
âIâll show you to his room,â he said. Josuke followed.
It was a bad idea to follow Keicho from behind. His back was broad and his triceps nicely shaped. He tried in vain to calculate the obtuse angle in which Keichoâs neck muscles opened from their junction at the shoulder. He thought about how warm that big neck must be, how nice itâd feel to cuddle such a strong back at night. Josuke would never feel scared again if this man were in his arms.
He blushed, cursing as he nearly ran into Keicho. Heâd stopped to gesture with his hand, a large hand with masculine fingers â Josuke shook his head and looked to see a slightly opened door on the left. Josuke thanked him. Keicho exhaled, amused, or what Josuke perceived to be so, and left with heavy footsteps down the hall.
Josuke almost forgot why heâd come there. But when he entered Okuyasuâs room, he saw that his friend was asleep. Josuke chuckled softly and tip-toed to Okuyasuâs bed anyway. He placed the back of his hand on Okuyasuâs forehead, gently so he wouldnât wake him. He still felt warm, but Josuke observed that his forehead wasnât hot enough to be a fever.
âFeel better, Oku,â he said, tip-toeing back out. He left the door cracked just as it was before.
The next time he visited the Nijimura household, Josuke was surprised that Keicho stayed in the living room for most of the evening.
âHuh? Why dâya care?â Okuyasu asked him laughing harshly. âItâs big broâs day off, he always watches TV and stuff when heâs not at work.â
âOh, just curious,â Josuke mumbled. âDoes he play games too?â
âYeah. Hey! Why donât we have a tournament? Big bro!â
Keicho looked a little annoyed as he turned his head toward them.
âWanna play a game with us?â
âSure,â he sighed. Josukeâs heart skipped a beat.
Keicho set up the console, changed the setting to Video-1, and lounged comfortably on the couch. Okuyasu sat cross-legged and way too close to the TV. Josuke would have normally sat next to Okuyasu, but the temptation was too great; he took a spot on the couch within a few inches of Keicho.
âEh? Ya not gonna sit down here, Josuke?â
âNah,â he said, voice trembling. âWouldnât want to disturb your concentration.â Nice save.
âWhatever, Iâll kick your ass either way!â
âYouâre on!â
Keicho laughed next to him. It was a deep and quiet sound, barely audible. Still, his heart thumped again and he grinned like an idiot.
âYou playinâ winner?â Okuyasu asked his brother.
âSure.â
He rolled his eyes at his boring older brother as the character screen began its countdown.
âAh man! Câmon Keicho! You canât lose to him bro!â
Josuke was on a winning streak. Keicho was supposed to play after the first time Okuyasu lost, but he was stubborn for a rematch. Keicho didnât care all that much and let him play. But then Josuke beat him again⌠and again⌠and again. Okuyasu even made him choose the most difficult character to control, a big slow guy. He still won.
Which led to Keicho finally placing his hand on Okuyasuâs tense shoulder. It startled him, but he handed over the controller, still warm with wasted effort.
They were on the last round. Josuke won the first two, but surprisingly Keicho caught up immediately after that and tied it up. It was almost too close to call whoâd have the last hitâthey were both low on healthâbut Josuke was determined to win. Determined to impress Keicho if only that meant a possible burst of anger or irritation.
Not that the quiet, hunky blonde seemed the type to be a sore loser. Josuke couldnât be sure. He didnât think Okuyasu would be such a hothead, either, and yet he was!
One last kickâJosukeâs jaw dropped. He was leaning all the way over his knees, sure that heâd been timing Keichoâs attempted attacks perfectly. Yet that was it, the killing move, the finisher. He whined childishly and had to keep himself from tossing the controller; Itâs not my stuff, he reminded himself. He placed it gently on the wooden floor and frowned, burying his face in his hands.
âAw yeah! I knew big broâd beat ya, Josuke!â
Josuke grumbled.
âGive the kid a break,â Keicho said. âYouâre not too bad, Josuke, but Iâm a seasoned player. You need a bit more practice.â
Josuke felt an arm around his shoulders. He looked up just as Keicho pulled him against his chest and Josuke thought the world was stopping. He couldnât breathe and didnât understand what Keicho was saying, but nodded anyway, absorbing the heat and musky scent of Keichoâs skin. He was very thankful for that tank top, for the hard muscles he could feel on him. Josuke was afraid heâd given himself away.
âAhâI guess so. W-well, uh, it was fun but I should get homeâmomâs expecting me for dinner, yâknow,â he mumbled. Unwillingly he slipped out of Keichoâs hold and grabbed his schoolbag. Okuyasu stood and followed him to the door, promising another rematch next time he was over. Josuke agreed and left.
He walked home as fast as he could. He couldnât handle the fire in his veins or the shaking of his heart. Part of him wondered if it was a Stand attack, but no, Josuke thought, no oneâs been on our tails and even if it was youâre too love-struck to know it!
When Josuke reached his house he closed the door and locked it behind his back. He sighed, his eyes cast down toward the floor. His mother turned on the hall light when she came down the stairs, stopping a good distance away before she spoke.
âJosuke? Whatâs wrong?â
âMomâŚâ It hurt so much that tears stung in his eyes. He took two swift steps forward and wrapped his arms around his mother, hiding his face in her neck. âMom, why do I feel like this?â
âFeel like what, sweetie?â
âHeâs so hotâŚâ His mother visibly tensed. âS-shit, I mean, uh⌠S-shoot!â
âLetâs talk over tea, hm?â
She removed his arms from around her. Josuke nodded and followed her to the kitchen.
âSo you got a crush, huh?â
âY-yeah,â he said. She set down a cup of tea in front of him. âThanks, mom. I justâheâs so gorgeous, I canât not look at him when Iâm over at Okuâs, yâknow? Heâs tall and kinda quiet but heâs super muscular, too⌠and he cooks really good. Heâs got this crazy hair but itâs blonde and looks soft if itâs left down. His style is off the wallâI justâŚâ
âWhoa, there, honey,â she said, laughing a little. âYouâre really head over heels for this guy?â
âUm⌠maybeâŚâ Josuke looked away, well aware of his motherâs intense gaze. âWe, uh, we all took turns playing a fighting game today on Okuâs console. I was doing pretty good, but his bro tied it and at the end beat me. But he⌠heâŚâ
âDid he touch you?â she asked sharply, standing from her seat. Josuke started as her flat palms slammed on the table.
âWhat! No! Well, yeah, I mean, butââ
âWhat do you mean, no, then yeah?â
âLet me finish, mom!â She sighed, but sat back down and conceded. âSheesh. I mean, he said I was good at games and uh⌠said I should practice more b-but he also put his arm around me and pulled me closeâŚâ
âAlready putting his hands on my boy, is he?â
âMom! Itâs not like that!â
Josuke groaned, resting his forehead on the table. It felt cool against his overheated skin. âIt made me feel so happy but scared âcause I donât think heâd like me back, you know?â
âJosuke,â she said, but this time her voice was devoid of scorn. âHeâd be silly not to like you. ButâI know, I know, thatâs beside the point. I understand what you feel better than you think.â Josukeâs heart clenched. âI felt that way, too.â
He suddenly felt guilty.
âI remember when I met your dadââ Josuke sucked in his breath. ââI thought, wow, that guyâs handsome! And he was charming and sweet. Charismatic in comparison to your boy, though, I think.â She laughed again. Josuke braved it and lifted his face. His motherâs eyes held deep admiration, staring off into a void he couldnât see. She was enamored. âAnyway, enough about the bygone days, am I right? The point is that what youâre feeling is normal. Itâs real. All the good feelings, and the bad ones. The anxiety.â
Josuke reached out, placing a hand on his motherâs arm.
âIâm okay, Josuke,â she said. âAnd you are too.â
He snorted a little. It sounded so corny. But thus far, his mother had been right about everything in life; so he once again put his faith in her word and squeezed her forearm.
âBig bro thinks you like him,â Okuyasu said, completely casually one day when Josuke was walking him home. âI dunnoâhe says you stare a lot and itâs obvious, anâ you ran out after he beat you at the game but I dunno what that was about. Anyway, do you?â
Josuke choked on his own spit. He had to stop mid-step and beat on his chest âtil it came back up. He spit into the street, cringing afterward; he hated people who did that.
âUâummâŚâ He wasnât sure how to answer. He wasnât sure whether Okuyasu could tell immediately by his hesitance to answer that the answer was yes, yes, yes! but Josuke hoped all the same that it wasnât.
âI mean, you donât have to answer or nothinâ, I was just curious,â Okuyasu added. âSee that new fighting game thatâs coming out?â
Josuke was so very thankful that Okuyasu changed the subject.
The next time he saw Keicho was on a run to the grocery store. His mom needed eggs for dinner, but she couldnât pick them up after work because the store would be closed by then.
There he was, as if waiting for Josuke; no, Josuke knew that was what his mind constructed. He wanted Keicho to accidentally run into him on purpose, wanted him to know that he liked him. He wanted to be welcomed into that warm embrace of mutual attraction where he wouldnât run like a coward because he couldnât handle his own feelings.
âH-hey!â
âHm? Josuke? What are you doing here?â
Josuke regretted making contact at all.
âHad to pick up some stuff for dinner,â he said. âMomâs cooking tonight. Whatâwhat about you?â
âDad and Okuyasu wanted sweets. Mostly Okuyasu, but dadâs rarely ever in the mood for them.â
âAh, I see.â
They stood stiffly, both sides awkward with paper bags in their hands. Keicho spoke first.
âWalk with me?â he offered.
âS-sure!â
They walked on the gray sidewalk in a mostly uncomfortable silence. Josuke was ecstatic that Keicho wanted to walk together, but knew better than to get his hopes up. Still, the warmth of Keichoâs arm seeped through his coat; Josuke was close enough to feel it radiating from his core. He racked his brain for something to talk about, but Keicho beat him to the punch again.
âItâs nice out today, isnât it?â he said. âNot too many people. Cool breeze.â
âYeah, it is,â Josuke agreed. He looked down at his feet as they turned a corner, unable to keep the conversation going.
âWant to go to the park?â
âY-yeahâŚâ
They found an empty park bench easily; not a lot of people in Morioh visited the park after dark. Though the sun was just setting, the children had all gone home and their parents were busy with dinner or just returning from work.
Josuke sat next to Keicho, their thighs almost touching, but his voice wasnât working. Heâd open his mouth once, turn to see Keicho staring at him, and immediately close it tight and look away. His fists balled around the fabric of his loose pants, bouncing up and down with his nervous knee. He couldnât bear the anxiety weighing down his heart.
âJosuke,â Keicho said.
He felt an arm around him again and made a sound. Josukeâs head snapped up as he stared at Keicho; there was a satisfied smirk on the elder Nijimuraâs lips as he pulled the younger man closer.
âI donât know why youâre so nervous,â he added. âItâs not a big deal.â
âHow did you know?â Josuke asked through gritted teeth.
Keicho simply shrugged, pulling Josuke tighter against his side. Josuke slowly wound his arm around Keichoâs abdomen. He couldnât feel the muscles he knew were underneath that thick coat, but Keichoâs body heat and the soothing up-and-down of his breathing kept Josuke calm. He surrendered to the body next to him, glancing up to see the first signs of glittering stars in the sky.
They remained huddled together for at least a half an hour. Keichoâs wide hands rubbed Josukeâs arms, chasing away his fears. Josuke even closed his eyes and rested his ear against Keichoâs chest where he could hear his heart beat perfectly normal.
When the time came that they had to part, Keicho stood and extended his hand. Josuke took it timidly and they walked slowly together, fingers threaded tightly, all the way up to Josukeâs front door.
âThanks for spending time with me,â Keicho said. He smiled, and Josuke swore heâd died and gone to heaven.
âN-no problem! Um⌠Keicho, canâcan we do this again?â
His hands clasped nervously behind his back. Josuke swayed sideways, avoiding Keichoâs gaze. The bright eyes of his friendâs brother bore into his pompadoured skull.
He leaned down the little bit that he needed to and kissed the young manâs forehead. Josuke would also swear that Keicho had a smirk as he walked away, but had no way to prove it true.
His mother immediately noticed the giddiness that glowed on his face when she got home from work that night. She suspected it was his crushâs doing, but said nothing and let Josuke be.
She could always tease him later.
Josuke didnât have time after he got out of the shower to do-up his hair. It frustrated him leaving the house with his hair wavy and too long in the front, still damp with shampoo and conditioner. But the new fighting game had just come out and he was anxious to play with Okuyasuâand by extension, Keicho. Mostly Josuke wanted to see Keicho again.
ââŚJosuke?!â
âY-yeah, itâs me,â Josuke answered, pushing his bangs out of his eyes again. âSorry, I was just too anxious to play this game. Is Oku around?â
âOkuâŚ? âOkuyasu? No, I think he has detention todayâŚâ
âOh shit! Thatâs right!â Josukeâs shoulders slumped forward. âDamn, I was really lookinâ forward to playingâŚâ
"You know I could play you,â Keicho said. âWhy donât you stay a while and wait for Okuyasu to get back?â
Josuke blushed, but he was smiling. âYeah,â he said, âThat sounds great!â
They played a few rounds on arcade mode, then switched to PVP. Josuke won the first match by chance, while Keicho dominated the next few rounds.
âLike I said, Josuke,â he echoed, âYou just need a little more practice.â
The two of them sat on the couch again, this time closer. Their thighs touched, a detail Josuke only became aware of because theyâd stopped playing. Keichoâs arm found its way on his shoulders again, but this time Josuke eagerly leaned into the offered hug. Both of his arms wrapped around Keichoâs stomach and he shimmied his legs all the way up onto the cushions. Keicho laughed a little and kissed his forehead again.
Josuke couldnât fully comprehend exactly what was happening, but the joy in his chest blinded him and he was happy with that.
âJosuke,â he murmured, âyouâre cute with your hair down like this. Why donât you wear it down more often?â
ââŚLong story,â he said, eyes closed. Keichoâs fingers were in his hair now, combing stubborn strands away from his forehead. Dry padded thumbs traced down his sharp brow and to his ear, feeling the gem of his earring as he rolled carefully around it
Josukeâs breathing slowed to a calm, steady rhythm. He yawned wide and loud, squeezing Keicho before his hold slackened. He nuzzled the warm, broad chest beneath his cheek with a giddy smile.
âCute,â Keicho mumbled. Josuke heard him and felt the bending folds in Keichoâs clothing as he leaned down. Chapped lips kissed his forehead and over his eyes. His lips were too far at that angle, lest Keicho break his back. Yet they tried anyway, ghosting over Josukeâs plump, parted lips, and he smiled.
Josuke heard the front door open, and Okuyasuâs raspy voice. Heard the footsteps coming closer, but he didnât care to budge. Keicho greeted him and Okuyasuâs tone was that of surprise, but Josuke could only catch bits and pieces of their conversation as he drifted in and out of sleep.
The fingers in his hair didnât stop their stroking. The hand, now on his side, didnât stop traveling up and down from his shoulder to his hip. Josuke was comfortable and safe. He fell asleep soon after. Heâd talk to Okuyasu about it later, he decided, in the last seconds of his consciousness at the Nijimura household.
