NEW VIDEO ALERT! π¦ Click the link in the bio to see this full October swimming video ππ Last weekend, dad and I went to Kehl Lake to film a fall colors swimming video. We had planned this adventure weeks in advance and were determined to make it happen no matter what... That morning, ice balls rained from the sky and the wind shook the house. It was 42Β° Farenheit... not an ideal day for a swim. . However, we had made plans. The fall colors were beautiful and we didn't know how long they'd stick around with all of the wind we were scheduled to have. Besides, the lake would only get colder if we waited. So... dad drove me to our filming location, I got changed while being hailed on, then he filmed from the shore as I took a plunge into the tiny yet EXTREMELY cold lake. I am very in-tune with my body, so swam for about 5 minutes until I knew it was time to get out. . It was a quick filming session, but well worth it, I think. Swimming in a lake surrounded by the beauty of autumn has always been a dream of mine. As discussed yesterday, sometimes you just have to take the plunge if you want to bring your dreams to life. π€ I'm not going to pretend that swimming in that icy lake was easy, but I will say that I would have deeply regretted not having tried it. .
