After 2 vet visits and my frustrations of knowing that Phoenix was gravely misdiagnosed, we had a 3rd vet appointment scheduled tomorrow for another opinion. However, after our nightly walk around 9:30, Phoenix started having extreme wheezing and labored breathing. It continued to get worse over a few hours, and I rushed him into the vet. 🐶 . He is stable at the moment but took a 3rd vet in 4 days to finally listen to me and agree that this wasn’t bacterial but a respiratory, allergic-like severe reaction that will probably require nare or soft palette surgery. We will know more soon but for now, there’s a Frenchie in the kennel next to him who is watching our baby & keeping him safe. ❤️❤️❤️ .
