One thing we're really passionate about here at Quirks is Music. We love to support our local music scene, we love live music, we love making playlists for the gallery, and we love chatting about our favorite old and new songs.

A fun little conversation over drinks between Jenn and Kendra has become a brand sparkling new obsession, and at this point it's only fair that we here at Quirks pass the obsession on to you.

Let's talk about "DOOR SONGS", the game where you pick your own theme music, but the scenario is so oddly specific that you might need to take a day or two to really answer the question!

The rules are simple- you walk through a door into a room... any room. Maybe you're on your way into work, maybe it's a stressful business meeting, a blind date, a shit show, your birthday party, to meet your worst enemy or the person of your dreams.... YOU WALK THROUGH A DOOR.... now, what song is playing? And please note - it's got to be the SAME SONG, for every door in your life. Let's go over the details again....

The song must be inherently YOU. Not a happy version of you (although we LOVE happy you), not you on a hard day (though we LOVE you then, too!), but a song that is just a reflection of who you are at your core. This way, it works for every door!

Only ONE song can be picked. I know we've already said this... but it's really the only rule. So take your time picking! The song you pick should be perfect for any variation of the door - entering- scenario. You know how boxers have music that introduced them when they walk to the ring, and that is forever their theme music? You are picking your door entering theme music, but since you only get one choice, you've got to make it count.

See? Simple, and yet, so freaking hard!
