I just love needily grinding against a pillow..!
It reminds me of how pathetic and clingy I am.. 😖

If the money coming in I‘m celebratin
You know that moment when you open your laptop 💻 to study… and suddenly you’re questioning your entire life instead?
Yeah. WELCOME TO COLLEGE🎓.
It starts small. One missed deadline, one awkward interaction, one “I’ll do it later” that turns into a full-blown spiral. Before you even realize it, your mind is juggling assignments, expectations, friendships, and a million “what am I doing with my life?” thoughts all at once.
And the weird part? Everyone around you looks like they’ve got it together. People are posting wins, showing up, smiling, and somehow managing everything. So you tell yourself it’s just you and you need to “try harder.”
But behind all of that, a lot of students are quietly dealing with the same thing stress and anxiety that doesn’t always have a clear reason.
Between assignments, expectations, social pressure, and trying to figure out your entire future at 18… it’s a lot. Some days you’re productive and glowing, and other days you’re just staring at your screen, overthinking everything. And somehow, both are considered “normal.”
But here’s the thing just because it’s common doesn’t mean it’s healthy.
•First: Learn to notice the signs
Sometimes mental health doesn’t look like a breakdown. It looks like constantly feeling tired even after sleeping, losing motivation for things you once enjoyed , overthinking small situations again and again, feeling low but not knowing why
If this sounds familiar, don’t ignore it. Your mind 🧠 is literally asking for a break.
• Use the resources (yes, they exist for a reason)
Most colleges offer:
Counseling services → A safe space to talk without judgement.
Helplines → For when things feel too overwhelming.
And no, going for help doesn’t mean something is “wrong” with you. It just means you’re self-aware.
• Build small habits that actually help
You don’t need a perfect schedule just a realistic one.
Yes, sleep does matter pulling all-nighters isn’t a personality trait.
Move your body → Even a short walk can clear your head or dance your heart out 🩰 (works for me as well)
Eat properly → Never skip your meals ❌ and survive on just snacks.
Take breaks → Burnout doesn’t make you successful.
⏳ Manage your time before it manages you
To be honest, half the stress comes from PROCRASTINATION right?
Try this instead:
•Break big tasks into smaller ones
•Set achievable goals (not “I’ll finish everything today”)
•Stop being a perfectionist , as something is definitely better than nothing.
• Find your people 🤍
Not everyone you meet in college is meant to stay and that’s okay.
Sometimes you trust people too quickly. Sometimes you open up, and it doesn’t go the way you expected. Maybe someone you thought was “your person” turns out not to be. And yeah, that can mess with you more than you’d like to admit. People come and go and that's how life works.
But one bad experience doesn’t mean you stop trusting completely. Not everyone deserves full access to you and that’s something you learn with time.
It’s okay to take things slow with people as real connections don’t feel forced or draining.
You don’t need a huge group, just a few genuine people who make you feel safe being yourself. And until you find them, learn to be okay with your own company too. Because at the end of the day, the most constant person in your life is YOU <3
Take care of your mind like it matters (because it does)
At the end of the day, college isn’t just about grades, internships, or achievements. It’s also about learning how to handle yourself your thoughts, your emotions, your limits.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You don’t have to be okay all the time.
But you do owe it to yourself to not ignore what you’re feeling.
Because “I’m fine” shouldn’t be your default being okay should be.
