The Kebra Negast, a cornerstone of Ethiopian tradition, recounts the Queen of Sheba's visit to King Solomon, a union that purportedly resulted in a secret son, Menelik I, who later journeyed from Israel to Ethiopia carrying the Ark of the Covenant. Whilst not in the Bible, the Kebra Negast provides an elaborate account of this lineage and the Ark's relocation, a belief that holds profound cultural and religious significance for Ethiopians.
