Listen/purchase: Who Stole The Soul by K-DON

Allow me to present Kdon, an upcoming Jamaican artist. He's very passionate about his music. I first heard about him through my cousin a few years back and in my honest opinion he's come a long way since then. One of his song that I first listened to was a freestyle that he did. The first time I heard it, I didn't even like it, I'm not even sure I fully paid attention to it when I was listening to it. It just never caught my interest..that is until recently. Some odd number of days back, I sat on my laptop and started to listen to song after song on his youtube account. There were those that caught my interest while there were those that didn't. Similar to how a regular musician's album is..you have their hit singles, and then you have their not-so-well-known songs on the album that may or may not catch your full attention.
Hopefully you all listened to that song that I just posted because if you did you would have realized something about Kdon. What was that realization, you ask (if you didn't listen or are unsure)? Well I'll tell you. It's that you possibly may not be able to understand him in that song. Reason being is because he raps with a mixture of patwa and english...but he does do english songs too. So never fear (if that was what you were starting to think about). He has a wide variety of songs (including vlogs) that are on his youtube account, some songs on it that I would recommend would be "Facts of Life" and "Jet Setting" featuring Frenzi, both in which I found intriguing.
A song from Kdon that I got a bit too addicted to that he did with another artist, Khaos, is "Ghetto Symphony". This particular song was released sometime around the end of last month and it was the beat that drew me in. To me it was amazing..it was fantastic..it was...well...you get the point. Their lyrics were on point too, but to be honest, I was mainly into the beat when I first heard it. Don't judge me. But just don't just take my word for it, some of my own friends who I sent the song to, all said variations of the same thing: "I can't understand it but the beat is amazing!" "It sounds dope! But what are they saying?" You be the judge on whether or not you like the beat and the lyrics (although loving the song as it is already is good and a plus too). Just be warned, there's a 95% chance you may not be able to understand their lyrics (as it's in both patwa and english) but I mean, I understand it...so I can't really say much on that topic.
Now before I end this, let me just input the fact that Kdon is not only a musician but also an actor. Why would I include this? Simply because he along with others at Road Force TV bring about skits of entertainment. Now you're probably wondering "Hold up..isn't this is a music blog? Why mention this fact?" Well to answer the first question, why yes, yes it is a music blog. Kudos to you! For the second question, well just allow me to finish before you get any other smart ideas. RFTV not only does skits but they also bring about interviews and vlogs from upcoming artists, actresses/actors, producers, djs and many more from their team. So yes, they still are considered music related. So are you intrigued about them, yet? Yes? No? Maybe so? Well here, let me just provide you with a video to one of their skits, "Got Caught," to keep you all entertained until next time:
