Making dedicated April Fools content isn't really my thing (to be quite honest, I actively despise that particular brand of cheap mean-spirited humour that has become the norm for every April 1st), but I felt like doing something with the tone you'd except from a joke made for this day (the key difference being, this tries to actually be funny) and... Well, here it is: two pinnacles of deranged Touhou memery, combined into one video.
First and foremost, credits go to:
@terralimite for the remake of the "Ronald McDonald Insanity" remix of "U.N. Owen Was Her?" [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViGOQeo3Vt0].
@PJKDNS for the Blender 3D remake of the original "McRoll" video from Nico Nico Douga [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vk4guNhKOQw].
I'll now proceed to copy-paste both videos' descriptions:
From @terralimite's video:
As close to the original notes as possible, except for some small additions here and there. Credits to みくる ["Mikuru"] from Nico Nico Douga, who made the original video 18 years ago [https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm1919148], and "Livvy94", who inspired me into making a complete version of this (you can find their work at @livvy94 and listen to their own version of the McRoll: https://soundcloud.com/vince94_memetrash/the-mcroll-except-it-isnt-off-key) [From here on down, it was all originally in Portuguese] When I first saw this video, I thought that it was the most incredible thing in the world and it'd be impossible for me to do something at that level. Eight years later, I managed to do the same thing just with Sony Vegas and the experience I had gained, and it ended up being much less difficult than I thought it would be. The lesson is to not give up on your dreams, even if things seem unattainable... I think. Making the same track "Mikuru" made from scratch, I was able to notice what bits of audio he used and the beats he wanted to put in. I thank the YTPMV guys, not for improving, but for developing all the musical ability and the "ear" that I have today. As a bonus, a quasi-acapella cover of the original McRoll that I made to use as a basis: https://www.mediafire.com/file/7ylj41pjs0ebujk/mcrolld_acapella.mp3
From 【PJ】KDNS's video:
Uhhhh... Made in Blender. Also, the Flandre Scarlet model is owned by Miy. (From bowlroll) THE MIRROR IS A PAID ACTOR BTW
Lastly, credits also go to the original music's creators:
Jun'ya Outa, a.k.a. ZUN: the composer of "U.N. Owen Was Her?" for the videogame Touhou Koumakyou ~ The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
beatMARIO / COOL&Create: the arranger of "Final Savage Sister, Flandre S", the remix of "U.N. Owen Was Her?" featured in the album Touhou Strike.
