Thereâs one thing that has always bothered me about Lord Vile. Itâs the fact that apparently no one knew heâs actually Skulduggery. I mean, come on, that guy lived with Mevolent and the others in the same castle for years. How did nobody get suspicious?
First of all, the most obvious thing: He came to them almost directly after Skulduggery disappeared and when he âdiedâ Skul came back, suddenly with the urge to do good things in order to find some kind of redemption/forgiveness.
The second thing is how he is in general. With that I mean, for example, the fact that he doesnât talk/doesnât talk much. For other people thatâd mean that he either canât talk or he doesnât want to talk which would lead to the thought of him not wanting his voice to be recognized. The next thing is that no oneâs ever seen him not wearing his armor, meaning that he, again, doesnât want people to know who he really is (or heâs just very ugly). Another weird thing about him is that he never eats, drinks, goes to the bathroom or sleeps (although he couldâve just locked himself in his room every night and pretended he was asleep). Someone must have noticed that. Nef, for example. He would probably even go so far as to follow him around for a whole day (or even longer), just to find out more about Vile.
And now tell me one more fucking time that no one realised Vile was Skul.
