Okay so in short… I think KCON Paris was an absolute mess in terms of organisation.
Don’t get me wrong, the concert itself and all the artists were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
But I bought me a convention ticket, not just a concert ticket. The information surrounding the event was very poor, the lack of signage when we got there was pretty deplorable, and finally, oh finally. The convention got split into two intakes after buying the tickets due to high demand. However, it was only upon turning up (at 11am) that we were told by other fans in the queue that demand was, in fact, so high that we had no chance of getting into the convention at all. Also there was a fanmeet, no idea how anyone was supposed to find out about that taking place tbh. But again, only a very, very limited number of people were let in.
So we spent a day queuing in the rain and cold. Now I’m not opposed to that if I buy a concert ticket but… I went for a whole convention not just a concert.
I’m glad I went, because BLOCK B WERE AMAZING, IOI WERE ADORABLE, F(X) WERE ABSOLUTELY WOW, BTS WERE ON POINT, FTISLAND WERE EVERYTHING TBH I MEAN THEY DID SEVERELY!!! AND SHINEE WHERE DO I EVEN START WITH HOW GOOD SHINEE WERE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤ but seriously terrible organisation of the event as a whole
