this is Adam -- if you’ve read the Raven Cycle u know alllll about him. if you haven’t, here’s a brief synopsis [tw: physical abuse]

Adam grew up incredibly poor in a trailer park in Virginia. He’s got a v southern accent which he tries to hide, because he basically worked his ass off to get a scholarship to Aglionby, a posh private school in the town of Henrietta.

while there, he met Richard Gansey, Ronan Lynch, & Noah Czerny, and later Blue Sargent, and became best friends with them, (tho Noah turned out to be, uh,, dead, and Ronan can dream up dead things in his sleep, and generally it was like..bad times).

also Adam is a magician who has certain powers over nature, but I haven’t decided if, with the death of Cabeswater, that’s remained. I’ll talk to the Ronan player about that if we get one tbh.

uh Adam is bi and dating Ronan Lynch, who is always angry and has a pet raven. ya know, normal things.

zombies scare the shit out of him, but also he’s seen scarier things. He’s handy with a baseball bat.

tbh nothing much phases him because he’s the epitome of John Mulaney going “THIS MIGHT AS WELL HAPPEN.”

[tw] he’s completely deaf in his left ear, from when his father smashed his head against a railing. his father is currently serving time.

he’s really not half as soft as he looks and he will call you out always, also he swears a lot and can generally be a snarky asshole, but Ronan and happiness has made him softer, so.

he’s set after iw

where was he in iw? sleeping, eating or making out with daredevil in a dumpster, probably

he still tried to retire despite not having the family to retire for

he has a past relationship with matt aka daredevil so there’s a good fucking chance he was taking time to make sure the dude hasnt gotten himself killed yet

the two aren’t technically together anymore but clint still fucking loves this dummy

clint left him because he couldn’t handle the stress of matt going out and constantly getting himself hurt

Thor is set right after Infinity War; he and Loki were en route to Midgard when they were interrupted by Thanos’ ship. Thanos murdered half of the Asgardians - including Heimdall and, most devastatingly, Loki, right in front of Thor’s eyes. He woke up on the Guardians’ ship, already with a plan that was essentially a suicide mission. Thor and Peter Quill share a tender moment on the Milano before Thor sets off to kill or be killed by Thanos.

After receiving Stormbreaker, he almost succeeds – but after being hit, thanos still has enough power and energy to snap his fingers, and it’s too late. He’s failed. They start disappearing.

And that’s when he wakes up in Blackpool.

This means pretty boy has a fucking astounding amount of survivor’s guilt, and really takes responsibility for what happened because it came down to HIM, and he could have succeeded but he didn’t. he feels as though this whole thing was his fault.

Thor is basically Thor; he loves his brother and will ALWAYS bicker with him, and doesn’t care at all about the fact that he’s “adopted”, because Loki has always been his brother. Thor would still say they were blood family.

He has not recovered from the loss of Mjolnir. His new lightning power is still super cool, and he loves Stormbreaker, but Mjolnir was an extension of himself, and without it, he feels incomplete.

Tragic mess of acting on emotions and loving too much too freely.

cheryl blossom, aka cheryl bombshell. 

straight off the bat, she’s lowkey excited that her archery skills will finally pay off with something other than a neighborhood serial killer.

she’s been through SO much shit, so saying she’s got some walls up is an understatement. she’s a bitch, but also an absolute sweetheart to the right people. 

she’s set post-season 2. so she wears her serpents jacket with the utmost pride she possibly could. 

10/10 can handle herself in a fight, would sooner castrate you than let you fight for her. she’s only a damsel in distress when she wants to be. (she burnt down her house and almost killed her mother to get back at her for years of abuse, she has zero qualms about killing something already dead)

canon up until the series finale of teen wolf.

malia tate, born malia hale is the daughter of peter hale a werewolf and corinne, a werecoyote and assassin better known as the desert wolf. both of her parents are a mess tbh.

she ultimately inherited her mother's supernatural genes and became a werecoyote herself.

her mother resented her for taking some of her powers away when she was born, so her aunt talia hale took her away from her and erased all memories of her existence from peter’s memory. 

she was then adopted by evelyn and henry tate. the two raised her as their own alongside their daughter kylie.

when she was nine years old, an assassination attempt by the desert wolf while she was driving with her adoptive mother and sister led their car to wreck, and the stress of the event paired with the full moon overhead caused malia to shift into her coyote form for the first time. since she had no idea of her supernatural heritage nor any control over her abilities, malia ended up inadvertently attacking and killing evelyn and kylie before running away. the guilt of this act led malia to live as a true coyote in the woods for the next eight years.

this was when scott and stiles found her and eventually helped her turn back into her human form alongside the rest of their pack.

she was briefly sent to eichen house to help adjust to her return to the human world. once malia was released from that place, she immediately sought out scott and stiles and joined their pack, fighting alongside them through the various supernatural and human threats against them.

she then learned the truth about her parentage and the identity of both her biological mother and father.

one of my all time fave characters to play honestly. i adore him so much

i like to mix mcu and 616 canon. minus the shit that marvel has done recently. fuck steve being hydra that will never happen. ever. we just ignore all of that

he is set after infinity wars because i love to suffer.

he’s broken even more. steve has lost everything at this point. bucky’s dead, sam’s dead, so many others are dead and he couldn’t do anything about it. he blames himself for not doing more.

steve’s a really sweet guy. he cares a lot about people, would go to the ends of the earth for those he loves and cares about. he just wants to protect people.

he’s extremely stubborn and bull headed too, though. doesn’t like listening when he has his mind set on something already. very impulsive at times and throws himself into dangerous situations whenever he can

steve has ptsd and depression. he puts on a brave face for everyone, though

loves to draw. it’s his favorite hobby

he’s pretty jaded over what happened during civil war. sort of given up on his country and decided to do his own thing. he doesn’t go by captain america anymore. he goes by nomad.

so just a quick heads up before i get into this fiery pudding. i have read the books but a long time ago so as much as i loved them i’m not gonna’ pretend that i remember them in great detail. therefore the clary i write will be mostly canon from the show. i mean she took a while to grow on me tbh but now i’m in head over heels in love with her. 

for those who don’t know much about her -- well she didn’t grow up in the shadow hunter world and had a very human life up until a couple of years ago. you asked her what a shadow hunter was before this and she would have been clueless to anything in regards to the world she now calls home.

clary lost her mom and her father was a mass murdering maniac so the people she calls family now are luke who was always like a father to her. simon, alec, izzie, jace, magnus -- her friends, the people she would do anything for.

SPOILER: she is currently in a lot of trouble back home and has just been sentenced to death for making a wish on the angel so she is fully up to date. the last thing she really remembers is being told she is going to be sentenced to death and then it’s a blur from there.

Bilbo comes right after The Battle of Five Armies. He's at home in Bag End trying to put his life back together. Hiding troll and dragon gold, re finding his personal belongings. Writing his story.

Bilbo is a gentle soul. Although he understands what needs to be done and can act accordingly. You need an Orc slayed? He can try his best. You need a hankie? He's got one.

He's rather fond of his arm chairs and garden, having missed them dearly on his adventure. He did plant the acorn he took from Beorn’s garden.

Promises were made that he would write to the dwarves of Erebor when he got home. He has yet to do that.

He's a story teller by nature and loves to tell the tales of his great adventure.

He still carries the ring of power in his pocket on most days, fumbling with it when he's nervous. It's a comfort to know it's there. A constant in his life, he feels he's missing after his quest.

A master of riddles, they are Bilbo's favorite game to play. Although now they make him think of nine teeth and live fish, he still quite enjoys them.

Bilbo is a happy, high strung at times, put together halfling. He once held his place in Hobbiton in high regard. Now he's more relaxed, he doesn't really care if his neighbors think he's crazy. He just wants to have fun and inspire future generations to pursue their dreams.

You can pretty much always tell what Bilbo is thinking by the look on his face. He is extremely expressive.
