I remember the first time I played KCD, I didn't know how dangerous going off the path was (especially on horseback), and I got stuck in a bush while riding Pebbles. I fell off after running in place and somehow glitched through the bush… then watched Pebbles proceed to ascend into the sky?? She made it all the way to the top of a tree before falling back down, landed perfectly on all four feet, and I stood there trying to process what had just happened??

Continued kcd2 again recently, and got into the second region with all my highest stats in horsemanship and houndmaster. My henry might not be able to read but hes at least really good at looking after his animals

in the game, mutt and pebbles are always nearby when henry wakes up after sleepwalking. therefore, this is the sight he sees when he wakes up in some random shrub.
i love to imagine them following him loyally during the night as he stumbles along mindlessly, like okay time for one of dad’s nighttime strolls again i guess

I just don’t know if I’ll get over this game.
Imagining, with Somnambulant in KCD2 that Mutt follows Henry wherever he heads and likely alerts Pebbles as well. Seeing Henry stumble about at night, Mutt running around Henry as he walks and Pebbles trudging along behind. Imagine the gossip. I find myself sometimes staying somewhere for a day, crafting or something to let Pebbles and Mutt rest. All 3 must be damn exhausted all the time. I love them.
I don’t know what possessed me to play hardcore for this 3rd run, but I am enjoying what it is doing to my heart and brain.
