And poor Reese doesn’t seem to understand why… 😔

I’ve had this on my mind to do with them for a while. 😂 I feel like it fits perfectly for them during the first time of them getting used to each other, and Reese having to learn how to handle her more gently.

The Remy meme redraw is an over-dramatization. He hasn’t actually held her that tightly… but it’s also kinda not too far off either. 😅 There was a lot of awkwardly holding her too firmly at first, or overall treating her like a rag-doll. So I mean, her fears are kinda warranted here haha!

So this is a piece of audio that I’ve had saved to do an animatic with for a while, probably close to a year at this point. It’s taken from a clip of the show Parks and Recreation. It features Donald, Reese, and @toothpaste-dragon’s girl Cricket tucked in Donald’s hoodie!

I found the exchange to be Donald and Reese coded at the time, though I have to admit that I feel like this particular scenario is a bit too dumb for Reese. I don’t know if he’d actually make this sort of mistake….😅

This is something I actually made like a month or so ago and originally wished I did better on… mostly with the motion/frames for Cricket when she’s being shaken haha. I wanted it more smooth… I ended up forgetting that I even made this because I wasn’t satisfied with it. But then I came across it again in my gallery and decided to show it to @toothpaste-dragon, and she enjoyed it, and that reminded me again that’s what matters, so now I post it here! ;w; This is based off of the meme that uses the same sound/music. I don’t know what it’s called tbh… but if you’re familiar with it then good!! If not then it’s still funny. :3

I got a burst of energy to do some arting again so I’m taking advantage of it. Random late-night WIP! Reese is rockin’ out! YEAAAAH!!!!! 🤘🏼

I don’t think I shared this on here yet?? This is 4 years old now, but I don’t cringe at it too badly yet so I decided to share! I animated Troy to a clip of Chris Pratt voicing some lines for the character Emmet from The Lego Movie. I felt that his voice was a good fit for Troy and wanted to see how he’d look speaking with it. I still consider it to be pretty close to what I imagine Troy to sound like. The scenario here is that his shrinking tech malfunctions and causes him to abruptly shrink down to human size. 🥲 Honestly there’s still a lot of things here that I admire, like the bouncing and most of the movement. Some of the posing is awkward and stiff though. 😅 But another pro is that it’s colored. A colored animation is always a feat to be proud of. :) Also I like how the lip-syncing and expressions came out too. I wish I animated the little person reacting though, instead of them just staying frozen… ah well. Perhaps my some miraculous miracle, I’ll get to redo this a third time. A gal can dream!

Okay so this is maybe a WIP??? It’s a callback to this post I made a while ago where I said the clip was very much like a conversation Donald and Reese would have, and I wanted to do an animatic for it if possible.

Well, I have begun that… and I’m not sure if I’ll get to do the whole thing, but I thought this snippet was already funny and it made me chuckle, so I thought I’d share this for now.

It’s a pretty long clip, though I actually took the audio and edited out a few parts that I felt wasn’t needed and made it a bit shorter. So I might be able to finish it!

Also you may or may not have noticed that Reese suddenly gets four fingers because I should have drawn four all along… It’s amazing how much easier it is to leave off one finger when animating lol. Who needs a pinky???
