alright i PROMISE eventually i will make my big big daytona madness post but im SO Busy this week so i beg for patience but suffice to say here are my basic highlights:
multiple drivers, mechanics, crew, lots of em, complimented my blue and indigo hair!
got bullied by the entire ford multimatic motorsports lineup at the autograph line
bullied hinch at the autograph line along with a table of ferrari drivers who were talking to someone and abandoning their poor teammate to do all the signing himself (we got a little giggle about it)
told ben keating his trackhouse car line up needed to do a cannonball run record attempt (he agreed)
got my first friendship bracelets thanks to my beautiful mutuals who i went with!
acquired many teams/cars to root for in the coming imsa season
experienced the peril of the corvette that matched my hair not doing well :(((
encountered the iron dames and was changed as a person
now need to figure out how to get into mx-5
discovered exactly how faceblind i am (did not recognize a single fucking driver until pointed out to me specifically. as in, three feet away from james hinchcliffe and didn't fuckin know SHIT)
dont know who the 13 car is but i saw several crew members hauling ASS during qualifying day and early race day so i like them bc they seemed perpetually up to something
also witnessed the vasser sullivan team distributing my buddy's friendship bracelets in a way that can only be described as "kindergarten class on the last day of school"
disappointed by everyone's footwear decisions at daytona international speedway (HEELS?!)
