Though they had shared this very moment time and time again-- this evening felt like it had truly belonged to them. Even if it was just for the smallest of moments The pair had walked side by side through the campus grounds, unrestrained laughter in their lungs. The evening summer breeze against their faces, and their hearts light with the warmth that came with the moments they stole between the final days of the summer term. "Oh of course- You can absolutely get the next door for me. Actually I insist. Id hate to put your honor as a gentlemen into question." Kathrine's teasing words came with a breathy chuckle and challenging grin accompanying a raised brow. Her attention fell to Wills office door that seemed to appeared not even ten feet from where they stood. Their laughter died into a tense silence as blue met blue. . . . The pair both made a sudden mad dash towards the door, their laughter echoing through the empty grounds. As they drew closer to the office ahead. Kathrine's hand extended to the handle only to be caught by Wills and pressed to the slick metal as his taught body pressed hers into the firm flat of the door. Her breath caught in her chest as she watched his free hand press against the door beside her head, his face lowering to brush his nose against hers in slow hypnotizing circles. Her body relaxed into his, her own free hand moving to caress his jaw as her conflicted gaze searched his. Maybe. . . Maybe just this once? "Will?" She asked, her voice only managing to hover just above a whisper.
"Kat." He answered, his voice thick with something that made her squirm, wanting all at once to run away and pull him closer. Her heart squeezed as she felt him shift to close the distance between them, his hot labored breath adding to the growing dizziness that possessed her. Suddenly the door fell open, a startled student standing on the other side, mouth agape. " Uhh professor? I had some questions about the required reading?" The younger man asked, clearly embarrassed by the pair that practically fell into the office. "He's all yours."
Kat chuckled, eyes flicking to Wills for only a moment more, a lopsided gin seeming to laugh quietly at him as she moved back through the threshold.
Her wave casual, even as her heart roared in her ears; insistent, pleading, and all together —Torn.
