The tornado season is starting early, it seems, so...you guys know what that means...back on my storm chasing AU shenanigans!

Mainly because, after "World's Apart" Wes' identity is NOT a secret. So like, Mr. Collins and Eric obviously know, but so does probably every single Silver Guardian and BioLab employee... cause I remember in another episode a random Guardian says something like "Wes is a Ranger, Sir, why don't we call him in?" or something like that.... but that's what solidifies in my mind that everyone knows...

And by extension, I believe with my full chest that at least Mr. Collins knows who the other 4 Rangers are because that's the 4 people his son has been living and working with since he left... and I'm willing to bet some other people who work for Mr. Collins had it figured out too. Let's not even talk about Eric, his identity was never a secret at all... revealing himself to Mr. Collins like that trying to suck up....

My point is... after "World's Apart", their secret identities are really not that secret. It's debatable how many civilians know.... but it's not really a secret....

So when "Full Exposure" comes along, I don't really get that sense of urgency or of their identities being revealed being a big problem? Like,,,, okay, more people could know.... but the only people not in the know are civilians.... Ransik and Nadira always knew and so did the Silver Guardians. Also, I didn't see the need to move from the clock tower cause again, their identities weren't secret to Ransik before but he never came knocking on their door.

If they released "Full Exposure" first then I feel the stakes would be higher because Wes would still be hiding his Ranger identity from his Dad and nobody would know Wes is Time Force Red, giving him more to lose with the pictures being released...

On to the partner of Katie.

Quietly going to mix in the live action with the comics because holy shit the live action could be so fucking boring sometimes.

Would eat a concoction of Korean and Mexican food together every single day if Wes wasn't worried he'd destroy the lining of his stomach.

Yes, he and Katie have a thing, but not, like, a romantic thing? Xybrians have this thing in their society that humans could only understand as sort of platonic soulmates, who cannot read each the minds of each other, but trust implicitly unto their own death. He never had anyone like that on his home planet, but Katie was his and he was hers from first blush.

He actually has a closer attachment to Eric than he does to Lucas on going back and forth in time; largely because Lucas tried to have another go with Nadira and it annoys literally everyone.

Trip had a not altogether unexpected crush on Wes, but largely because when he read his thoughts on accident, they were all soft and sweet and nothing like a lot of the people from his original century. It was hard not to fall in love with him like Jen was, even though Xybrians aren't monogamous as a rule like an awful lot of humans seemed to be.

Does not understand why porn has any value.

Begged to have movie nights with Wes and Eric when they were on speaking terms and the lot of them watched Park Chan-Wook, Ang Lee, Peter Greenaway, Jane Campion, and Terry Gilliam movies on a rotating basis. Not a single film in the thirty-first century could compare to a single screenshot of a single one of those films on VHS or DVD.

Convinced Nadira to get a nursing degree since the basis of their becoming friends was his forcing her to look after a laboring mother and the alternative was her reminding him of this constantly.
