"he seems to be quite... agreeable." something to say about a new acquaintance or suitor, not about her infant nephew, but eloise had been pondering over what to say about little edmund for too long a moment now. she'd warmed towards the bundles of joy her siblings have introduced over the years; there was a difference in how she first regarded colin's son compared to daphne's. but she thinks she'd fare better with her nieces and nephews once they were children and less inclined to cry and fuss at the slightest shift in how they were held.
she did mean what she said, though. edmund has been quite pleasant to be around for the past few minutes. "seems to be a curious one as well. i don't think he's blinked much since he was brought in." eloise lets out a chuckle, giving him a reluctant, split-second pat on the head before drawing her hand back. "what do you think he'd say if he could speak?"
@kathrani ! starter call.
