Your Dutch girlfriend hums a tune you can’t quite make out, gently running her fingers through your hair.
‘I love you. You know that right?’ She murmurs, leaning down to press a light kiss onto your hair.
‘I do.’ You softly reply, reaching out a hand to find hers, squeezing it tightly.
She hums again, using her free hand to carefully wipe away the tear streaks on your face. You shift closer, practically burrowing yourself into her side.
