i def see ratiorine having kassiah when they're married (after like being together 5+ years), and i definitely see aventurine having a phantom pregnancy for a good 3-4 months, and during a mission no less. so he's not expecting her but he's very comfortable being pregnant for a majority... of it... i think giving birth lowkey traumatized him but its for plot and he gets over it (its fine they're both happy fathers)

It's a sappy story, and even though anyone could see it coming once you're reading this one, it still packs a punch. I like the genuineness of this short, bittersweet fic, the reality that not everyone gets their happily ever after *coughs*.
