What's your number one beauty rule or tip?

LB: If your body is clean on the inside, it shows and glows on the outside.

What's always in your handbag?

LB: Jack Black Lip Balm, Listerine Pocketmist, and the "Notes" section on my iPhone which I'm continually filling with my latest ideas!

What's your favorite Karuna mask and why?

LB: The Karuna Brightening Treatment Mask! It's gentle on my skin while effectively brightening it in minutes.

How do you wear your Karuna (i.e. what is your preferred Karuna time and place)?

LB: On a Sunday afternoon after shopping at the local farmer's market, I kick my feet up on the couch, put on the Karuna Brightening Treatment Mask, and chill for 20 minutes.

Karuna masks can be the perfect companion for summer travel. Any destinations in your summer future?

LB: I was in Thailand in June taking Vegan cooking classes, and will head to London in September to gather a bit of creative inspiration for Straight Pin Studio LA.

What has been the proudest moment in your career thus far?

LB: In the early 90s I owned my first business at the age of 23. It was a coffee house in West Hollywood, CA, called Little Frida's and was themed around the works of artist Frida Kahlo. We had an eclectic customer base of lesbians, artists, musicians and celebrities...and they all loved our coffee.

What did you aspire to be when you were growing up?

LB: A restaurant owner and a makeup artist.
