Sweet potatoes big in soul food cooking, and while Sam’s truck is very pointedly NOT soul food, it still influences a great deal of what he cooks. Sweet Potatoes are definitely a staple of Potato Rescue and every year he does What Can I Do With A Yam This Year as a Thanksgiving special on his youtube.

I really have to pull all the foodieverse stuff together and turn it into a novel. It’s gone way beyond an Avengers AU at this point :D

Clint is a night clerk at a convienence store in the middle of nowhere. Phil keeps coming in because the owner boss is dirty and Phil is investigating. They keep making more elabotate meals from the limited resources of the store. Phil warns him to leave before the bust and he just gets away on a motercycle. I think they meet up at a hotel. All that detail and I can't find it. I generally stick to ao3 so its gotta be from there.
