no, that’s not what i’m saying. what i’m saying is that, as white people, we are raised in a society that teaches everyone that whiteness is the ideal and anything non-white is bad. it doesn’t matter if you grow up and reject this idea and think to yourself that all people are equal, because at some level, the ideas around you have affected you and your way of thinking.

saying “all white people are racist” isn’t saying “white people are inherently bad people”. it’s saying “hey, as a white person i acknowledge that i benefit from the oppression of people of color. i contribute to the oppression of people of color. often not intentionally, but because of blind spots due to my upbringing in a racist society. for every person of color that gets denied a job because of their skin color or their “ethnic sounding” last name, i and people like me get an extra chance at getting that job solely because we are white”. it means that as white people, we get to see ourselves on TV in a thousand different ways, and we can pick and choose which character we want to relate to because there’s so many options, but most of us never think twice about why there are so few options for people who aren’t white. it means that as white people, we don’t have to be afraid of cops, because we are raised to trust them. it means that as white people, we don’t know the pain of almost constantly being the only person of color in an otherwise all-white room.

Short answer: The earliest the network would make a decision is April, the latest is the 2nd week of May.

Phew this isn’t hate! Was scared to look at this coz I thought it might be hate hahaha!! 

I totally agree. I wasn’t liking his attitude in the last couple of episodes.It seemed like he was trying to one up Kara, for example in last weeks episode where James was boasting about getting the last couple of bad guys while Kara was literally fighting off missiles. And then wanting the Guardian to be front page instead of Supergirl. It turned into more of a competition to him than just helping her out. Whereas Mon El actually wants to help Kara. He doesn’t give a shit about being in the lime light.
