Her wrist was hurt in the initial fight, but she can barely feel it as she races though the back streets of Spirale; she doesn’t know where she is, how’s she going to lose them...?
She rounds the corner, spotting another figure up ahead. A human, but one she’s met a few times before. Kara’s always nice to her, even though she isn’t a human kid.
Pride is the only thing stopping her from asking for help; she doesn’t need anyone! Still, her little ears flatten against her head as she looks back; her pursuers can’t be far behind. Maybe just this once...
“There’s people chasing me,” she says quickly, cradling her injured wrist. “Is there somewhere near here I can hide until they go away?”
