Not sure it actually happens, but he thinks about it a lot hypothetically. What it would be like. The first time he ever did anal with Jonny it was kind of a disaster. He wishes he could’ve been better for him–that he’d spent a bit more time on prep, knew what a prostate was.

He probably tells Jonny about it sometime after they’ve fucked as Jonny’s lying next to him. He’s facedown on the mattress, arms folded under his head, his back shiny with sweat, red marks from Patrick’s mouth and hands—he says that he hopes his younger self learned some things from what they did that one time.

“Not sure I would’ve been able to handle it if you’d known what you were doing back then.” He thinks about the way it is now, when Patrick fucks him, how overwhelming it can get, and has to shake his head. He loves what they do, it’s amazing, but he can’t imagine that happening to himself on the first try.

Patrick kisses him and laughs and says it’s not fair that Jonny got to have his younger self when he was as Jonny described all “lost and pretty.” Why doesn’t Patrick get that?

wow, you’re right, look at this guys. “Canada’s ultimate 5-star fishing adventure” even. this one is the outpost that’s closest to Toews Lake. also apparently it was called Bear Lake before it was Toews Lake, which is kinda badass, but they still market it as that, which is disappointing :P
