OMFG. Future Fic they’re roommates and they fight about the most bullshit-dumbass things. All day, every day, so they don’t notice how much they sort of depend on it. All the nagging and fighting etc…Â
So when they go on separate out of town missions… they start to get lonely and they don’t know why. So they text each other (whoever’s home) to make sure to water the plants, and to dust, and to actually throw away the trash and the recycling etc…Â
When they get back from these trips there always a weird awkward tension that they ignore. At first it’s easy, and they go back to normal like it’s nothing. But then… each time either one goes away for a long period of time it gets harder and harder to ignore that weird feel.
One day Awase does something super basic like opens up a jar for Kaminari and Kaminari says some throw away line, like “Thanks, I dunno what I’d do without you.” He means it to sounds super sarcastic but it comes across as genuine (cuz it is) and they realize they have a huge case of the feelz and have to figure out what to do with them
