The warlock straddled his chest, sweat dripping off her face as she looked down at him. Both were bloodied and sliced up from their battle but the two of them could fight each other for days if left to their own devices. Her hands rested on each side of his head, giving her a full view of his face and the pain in his eyes. Β
Her attention quickly shifted from him to her arm, the shadowy ink spreading quickly across her features. "No. No no no. Not now, not right now..." she mumbled to herself, squeezing her eyes shut, in hopes she could force it to go away. Upon opening her eyes she realized it was too late and the color was already fading from her entire form. Her voice quivered as she spoke, tears starting to form on her lower lids, "Im sorry Kallimath but I need you to run..." She grabbed his hand, the one holding his blade and pulled him on top of her, pinning her to the ground via a sword through the chest. A quiet cough caused a bit of blood to dribble from her lips, the deep crimson quickly shifting to match the void she was becoming. "Go... now..." she spurted out.
