The Adventure continues for the party on the world of Eldoria on the continent of Myrrkhelm. The state is named Kallal in the Elderwilde province with the city of Welton.
The party after venturing through a trap gauntlet in the forest near town finds a cave that houses the wolves. After some words and a disagreement combat ensured. One wolf was killed through the fight. One ran into the cave in fear of death after massive damage. One fought bravely nearly dying but standing ground. The last, the leader, stopped the fight surrendering before he and the rest of his pack were wiped out.
Things were not as they seemed though. After talk and discussion and some listening on both sides the party learns that this band of wolves aren’t wanted anywhere as a pack and are destitute due to low prospects and are forced to steal to not disappear forever.
They also learn of a mysterious stone with runes that helps the wolves but seems demonic. They put another item by it that belongs to a dhampir and both items yearn for each other.
Parting ways more amicably once the cleric dwarf heals the wolves and the wolves in turn give information both sides are now at peace. The party heads back to Welton to learn more of the rock and now to parlay for the wolves to the town to see if trade or acceptance can be struck.
It closes with the party finding themselves speaking to the night guard explaining what happened since out of everyone in town he is the only one deemed to be the most forthright with the group and likely most honest. They deem him a mean dog but a good dog at heart and action (and character).
