       there  were  vague  memories  of  falling  that  flashed  through  amara’s  c o n s i o u s n e s s  when  her  eyes  finally  OPENED.  it  was  as  though  they  had  experienced  something  that  had  felt  more  like  a  DREAM  than  their  true  R E A L I T Y.   she  swore  there  was  a  BEAR  but  that  seemed  impossible,  she  knew  the  public  were  meant  to  stay  away  from  black  bears  even  though  they  did  live  around  these  parts.   last  they  remembered  was  shooting  it  with  a  bow  their  friend  CARTER  had  crafted  for  them.  he  knew  how  much  hunting  brought  her  closer  to  her  father. 

but  something  in  her  mind  gave  her  the  F E E L I N G  she  had  been talking  to  something.  of  course  their  trips  into  the  woods  usually  happened  to  give  them  some  solace  in  order  for  them  to  collect  their  thoughts.   so  that  seemed  nothing  more  than  an  impossible  hallucination.  she  wondered  if  that  was  something  the  gods  had  forgotten  to  tell  her.  maybe  they  were  meant  to  hear  voices  from  their  past  lives ? 

however,  she  was  proven  QUITE  wrong  when  her  eyes  met  those  of  a  injured  woman.  KALI  was  laying  there,  arrow  in  her  leg  with  blood  itching  to  come  out  of  the  wound.  and  AMARA’S  BREATH  caught  in  their  throat.  she  could  have  SWORN  it  was  only  a  BEAR.  she  would  never  in  a  MILLION  LIFETIMES  go  out  of  her  way  to  hurt  kali.  but  there  was  no  time  to  dwell  on  that  now.  something  had  obviously  happened  and  she  needed  to  get  the  woman  the  a  hospital.
