You know what's something I love in digimon? When they just have a completely casual alt color without being an all new species like Blackwargreymon. Like, it's fine from them to be same name different type like orange Guilmon can be Guilmon(data) but just genuinely love when a digimon just... HAS an all color and it's just completely normal.
I am an indecisive person and if asked what digimon I'd want I would need a pop quiz and to know what other tamers in my party's partners are gonna be cuz what if we're nothing but a squad of water digimon tamers? Inoptimal.
But in my thoughts of "What if you had to have a bird as a partner?" I was like something that evolves into Kokatorimon. Specifically that one random encounter enemy one that was only ever seen in Digimon World 3 because just LOOK at that appealing no-reason color scheme difference!!
And there's no reason for it to be that color. It's not a unique! It's not require like Kaktorimon and Akatorimon to be easily differentiated between a recruitable/party member Digimon vs an enemy Digimon. DW3 is a turn-based rpg with limited party layouts and I don't think Kakatorimon is anywhere near that roster so it's just like... a no reason nice color schemed chicken varient for this game and I love that.
