He walks back down to the tent, deciding to check in on some of the others who are hold up there. [4:55:09] * Krauzer walks through the tent, poking his head through to see various people, most of whom were asleep until he stops before another curtain, the sounds of chains clinking together behind it. As he steps through he sees Kaja sitting there. [4:58:55] * Kaja is picking at something by her shirt hem, idly flexing her wings against the straps around them. She looks up at Krauzer and laughs quietly* Vtae, Zhploth. [5:05:45] * Krauzer pulls up a chair and sits down at the edge of the room, ignoring her angelic speech* Hello Kaja, how are you feeling? [5:13:27] [Krauzer] It is coming along pretty well, should only be a matter of time now before we manage to clear this all up. Nights said you were having a few, issues, and I just wanted to check up on you. [5:14:49] * Kaja smiles widely, all sharp grey teeth* How.... kind of you. Did you want to check any closer...? [5:22:17] [Krauzer] Hmm, *He smiles back at her* I think I will be fine over here. [5:23:55] * Kaja humphs quietly, and crosses her arms. Her skin by her shirt hem is pale, under the flux* Was there anything you wanted, bput? [5:31:28] [Krauzer] I just wanted to see how you were doing really. But I can see it already, this flux seems to be affecting you differently to everyone else.. Perhaps someone of your stature would care to enlighten me on what I am missing? [5:51:47] [Krauzer] You are right, perhaps I should take some samples and see what I come up with? *He stands and slowly makes his way towards the cot to get a closer look at the flux that she flicked towards him* [5:53:27] * Kaja sits still, watching him closely. Her fingers twitch as he approaches, the flux on them almost seeming to bow away from him* [6:00:33] * Krauzer pulls a small rolled up kit from his bag full of various tools and instruments. He opens one of the empty vials and uses one of the tools to place a small amount of the flux material into it* I always need more samples to test on you know, so if ever you want to flick more of this stuff at me I would much appreciate it.. [6:01:18] * Kaja grins and immediately flicks both her hands at him, nearly before he can finish his sentence* [6:04:19] * Krauzer stumbles backwards a few steps, startled by being showered in flux. When he finally regains his composure, he pulls out a small cloth and starts to wipe purple spots of flux from his face and clothes* Yes, I definitely see what Nights meant by aggressive tendencies. Come get one. *she taps her throat, which has scabbed back over with taint* [6:10:08] * Krauzer reaches down and trains his hand over the wand tucked in his belt. He looks up angrily at Kaja.* Don't tempt me. I might take a bit too much off the top... [6:12:13] * Kaja's eyes glitter, and her halo sends of a tiny shower of sparks* You could try. [6:22:31] * Kaja's laugh doesn't sound normal this time, as it has an underlying sound of stone grinding against stone. She shifts slightly on the cot, and it creaks* Test your theory if you like, little mage. I'd like the exercise. [6:30:22] * Krauzer moves his hand away from his wand and straightens out his jacket.* I wouldn't want you to think I only beat you because of those chains... We will wait till you are out so I can defeat you fair and square. [6:32:40] * Kaja smirks and flexes her hands* We could do that now, unless you think that this kpydk will make it unfair. [6:39:46] [Krauzer] I am sure our mutual friend, Nights, would not be too fond of one of her patients being injured too severely. Another time maybe.. He tidies it up and places it back safely in his bag. He raises the small flux sample he took up to the light and examines it closely before placing this in his bag also.* This will prove quite useful, thank you for your co-operation Kaja. [6:46:23] * Kaja hisses at him quietly* Hurry your research, Zhploth. Nel'a dts ik. [6:47:30] * Krauzer turns and heads back towards the entrance of the room smiling to himself as he goes* Until next time, friend.

[7:29:02] * Lorelei closes her notebook, now stained with purple, and stands up from her bed. The flux has already crept up her neck, and scabbed over her hands. There’s a fire in her eyes as she exits her room, and goes to Kaja’s. She stands in the doorway, not saying a word. [7:30:05] * Kaja is only vaguely paying attention to her surroundings. She seems to be meditating, but may also be asleep a little bit. [7:30:41] * Kaja starts slightly when she jingles her own chains, and looks up at Lorelei in her doorway. She grimaces a little. [7:33:46] * Lorelei doesn’t move, and doesn’t move her gaze from Kaja, except to look at the chains that bind her. Her eyes move back to Kaja, and her expression doesn’t change. Still, she says nothing. [15:37:07] * Kaja is sitting crosslegged on her bed, flux spiraled up her arms. It’s fully encircled her eye, her iris a contrasted bright lurid green, and it's wound down her legs as well. There are now shackles around her biceps, leading to the bedframe. Her eyes are closed and a single foot is up on the stool, allowing her to rest her elbows on it then thus her hands under her chin as she talks* [15:49:11] <Nights> -and i remember learning about using a fork- *she was talking but she stops and opens her eyes as kaja speaks* [15:50:22] * Kaja looks up at Nights, glaring a little. The small brightly wrapped box with a carefully made bow sits in her palm. [3:37:12] * Kaja is sitting on her cot, toying with the notebook Nights gave her. Most of the pages have purple smudges all over them, and some are torn as if scratched with claws. Flux is creeping up her cheek, and the corner of her eye it's nearly dipping into is flushing a brighter green, if that was at all possible. There is a huge smear of taint on her pants, a gouge of it on her leg* [3:37:58] * Kaja is muttering quietly to herself, tapping her fingers on the tangled bedsheets next to her. She stops, and grabs the thick opal bracelet on her wrist, looking down at it, then immediately tries to scrub the fluxy smudges she's left away with the sheet* [3:43:14] * Nights comes in toting a large pail of water with cloths hanging over the side of its edges. [3:44:12] <Nights> Kaja its time to clean you off again. *She says not really looking up from the ground before putting the pail down, the water sloshing out of it a bit* [3:45:45] * Kaja snaps her head up, then exhales a little bit and lets go of her wrist* Hello Dyu. [3:47:20] <Nights> Hello Kaj *she says more casually looking up and pulling the stool she left for herself in the room.* How are you? [3:53:41] * Nights shakes her head in disapproval* [3:54:47] * Nights moves the stool a bit closer and leans over to put the cool cloth on kaja's neck and wipe downward over her collarbone. Even with you saying you are washing *she looks up, not looking where she is cleaning, to squint at kaja* [3:59:03] * Kaja starts to laugh again, but the scab of taint Nights is swiping over comes off on the cloth. Underneath is bared a pale pink-grey swathe of not-skin, with an eye dead center on her collar bone. It is vertical, a deep royal purple sclera with vivid green irises, and it's looking right at Nights* [3:59:29] * Kaja freezes immediately, eyes wide, also looking right at Nights* [4:01:55] <Nights> what? *She looks confused at kaja before glancing down at her own hands and immediately dropping the cloth and staggering backward, wide eyed and not breaking eye contact with the eye staring at her on Kaja's collarbone* [4:02:06] <Nights> What... Oh mother.... [4:03:03] * Nights stands up tall, trying to straighten herself, trying hard. She manages to make everything but her expression look normal, still staring at the purple eye on Kaja's collarbone* [4:04:49] * The eye blinks once before Kaja's hand slaps on top of it to cover it, and she continues to look up at Nights, a mixture of extremely worried and wary. She opens her mouth to say something, but closes it when she can't think of anything good* [4:06:56] <Nights> What is that? [4:09:38] <Kaja> It's... Yk'i bn... *she looks kind of pained, and suddenly refuses to look up at her* I'm- I'm sorry. For startling you. [4:42:35] * Nights lifts her hand from kaja's and moves over to gently take her other wrist and lightly tug at the bracelet. She uses a gloved finger to wipe away some of the crusted taint on and around it to pull it off.* [4:45:03] * Kaja watches her, and shivers a little when it's off. She closes her eyes and bows over her lap, hand still firmly in place on her chest* Kvpdz nel. [4:46:58] * Nights wipes it off fully, submerging the bracelet in the water quickly to remove any more of the taint before putting it in her pocket* Hmm? [4:49:43] <Kaja> ...Thank you, Dyu. Nights. *she curls her hand in the flux stain on her pants, and her wings twitch. She opens her eyes again* [4:51:20] <Nights> Are you in pain? I should look you over or perhaps have you shower so clear the taint away again....*She stops and studies kaja’s face* Kaj? [4:53:29] * Kaja looks away from Nights, then at the pocket she slipped the bracelet into, and then back up at her face. Her fluxed eye is bright, nearly glowing, and her halo lets off a single spark* Y'b- Nel- [4:55:48] <Nights> Kaj, I can not understand you, you know that *She says gently* [4:56:57] <Nights> Come now, let me wash the rest of this off *she bends, taking a new cloth and swirling it in the water* [5:00:04] * Kaja watches her, carefully. She almost looks like she's sizing Nights up* Dyu... [5:04:15] <Nights> Shhh... It is alright. *She looks up with the cloth in her hands, watching the sparks fly off kaja's halo* Calm down. [5:06:07] * Kaja offers her hand out to Nights to help her stand back up. Her eye glitters* Come here, Dyu [5:09:34] * Nights doesn't take the hand but stands and steps closer anyway, raising her hand with the cloth in it* hmm? [5:12:13] * Kaja gestures her hand a little, still offered* My hand, Dyuvki. Take my hand pds Y ivpa rhydu nel ooykv bt [5:15:16] <Nights> First the cleaning okay? *she says, taking her hand from underneath and attempting to wipe at her wrist* [5:19:20] * Kaja grins too widely and grips Nights' wrist, yanking her sharply forward. As Nights tumbles into her, she bares teeth too sharp and goes for the throat* [5:28:42] <Nights> What!! *she plants her foot on the edge of the cot as she's pulled forward pulling herself away, her eyes wide with fear and surprise as a set of large sharp teeth covered in purple saliva lunge toward her* [5:33:53] <Kaja> Y zpd rhydu nel ooykv bt, Dyu. Ooykv li! *she hisses, continuing to pull at Nights. She snaps at her again, and a small shower of sparks flies off her halo, some of them purple* [5:35:08] <Nights> Kaja stop this!!!! *she pulls her arm harder, feeling the strain in her wrist where kaja's hand is wrapped around* stop! [5:37:10] * Kaja's flux fluoresces for a second, and she yanks again, knocking Nights off-balance towards her teeth* [5:42:09] * Nights tumbles forward toward kaja's open waiting mouth, in that moment she feels like a seal looking down a shark's mouth. Instinct throws her fist forward with the extra momentum of kaja pulling her.* [5:53:06] * Kaja is punched right in the face, Nights being off-balanced and yanked only putting her full weight behind it. She's knocked flat back on the cot, and it creaks an ugly warning as she thrashes to get back up, seething in angelic* [5:59:13] * Nights falls onto kaja, quickly rolling back off her in a panic and grabbing for anything in her reach. Her hand lands on the stool she was sitting on earlier. It happens in a split second, grasping it firmly with both hands and raising it over her head as the angel in front of her flaps her wings viciously, trying to stand. She brings the stool down hard on kaja in an attempt to knock her out.* [6:02:29] * Kaja shrieks, a writhing target of wings and arms, but she lunges at Nights, her mouth and the eye on her collarbone wide open. Lurid green irises stare at Nights.* [6:04:39] * Nights brings the stool down on kaja's head as she approaches* [6:07:38] * The start of Kaja's yell is cut off as she goes down in a pile of wings, unmoving [6:10:44] * Nights drops the stool, gasping and stepping backward, leaning on the wall, staring at kaja laying limp half over the cot*

[7:27:54] * Lorelei slowly peeks out from her room. She looks around and quietly sneaks, peeking into each room, looking for Kaja. She finally finds her, and slides into her room. She smiles and coughs. [7:28:25] * Kaja looks up from where she had been signing into the empty air, then perks up* Lore! [7:29:38] <Lorelei> Hey Kaj! *She gives a tiny wave and grins as she moves closer* Well I guess since we're both sick, I could probably give you a hug and be fine... this time! [7:32:22] <Kaja> Oh, Lorelei... *she half-smiles and holds her arms out* I'm so sorry, this is my fault [7:35:44] * Lorelei hugs Kaja and sighs a bit* You didn't know, Kaja. You didn't maliciously do this. At least I assume so. [7:37:03] <Kaja> I would never *she grimaces, thinking about the body just to the side of the doors someone must have cleaned up* It's.. It'll be fine. [7:39:03] <Lorelei> Are you sure? *Lorelei sits on the edge of Kaja's bed* I know I'll be happy when this is all over, because as nice as Nights is... these clothes are definitely not my style. [7:39:50] * Kaja snorts quietly, her own donated clothes ragged with taint* Better these than your pretty dresses, though? [7:43:59] <Lorelei> Well, now that you say that, I suppose you're right. Crez did pack me something to wear afterwards anyways. Not giving up the dogtags though. I suppose I should probably give them to Crez to keep safe... *She sighs* I was kinda hoping we'd get to stay together, that way I wouldn't feel so out of place. [7:44:33] <Kaja> You're only a little bit down the hall, I bet, it's alright [7:47:20] <Kaja> The dogtags, though.. I think this eats through metal? I'd probably recommend you give them to Crez, yeah [7:49:09] <Lorelei> Yeah... Oh gosh! Does it? I'll give them to him when he comes to check on me. He can clean them and hold on to them for me. [7:49:30] * Lorelei places her hand on Kaja's.* I'm... just.. worried about all this. [7:50:49] <Kaja> It's kind of something to be worried about, really. *she flips her hand under Lore's to hold it* Krauzer and now maybe Crez are... working on it [7:53:07] <Lorelei> I just want us both to get through it. I wanna go back to Katton and our normal life, ya know. I don't feel very... Lorelei. *She sighs and squeezes Kaj's hand* [7:56:23] <Kaja> It'll be okay, Lore *she smiles gently* This'll get worked out, we'll all figure something out [7:58:53] <Lorelei> I'm just gonna have to trust you, I guess. *She lets go of Kaj's hand and stands up* I should probably get back to my room before Nights finds out I snuck out. I'm sure she won't mind, since you're not the blue wolf I was told to stay away from, but you know... [7:59:56] <Kaja> Ah... *she looks worried for a brief moment* Yes. Blue is... unvisitable for now. She's... had a bad reaction, and it'd just be better all around if only certain people went into her room [8:04:22] <Lorelei> I suppose its for the best. You be careful, okay? I don't want you becoming sequestered as well.... That would not be a good thing. I'd probably end up more worried. *She gives a bit of a nervous laugh* [8:05:53] * Kaja rubs gently at her own arm, smiling tinnily* That.. probably won't happen. It'll be fine. [8:07:16] <Lorelei> Okay. I'm gonna go back now. I'm glad I got to finally see you, its a been a while. [8:08:05] <Kaja> Alright, Lore. *she pulls her into a hug again* I'll be right over here if you need me [8:09:56] * Lorelei hugs Kaja tight and pulls away, walking toward the door* Okay, maybe I can sneak out again and talk to you again. *She blows a kiss to Kaja and waves.* Bye, Kaja.
