By the time KAI reaches the garage, they are already  b r e a t h l e s s, sweat practically ( WATERFALLS ) as they drip down the side of their temples, onto their exposed collarbones, and somewhere down below.  “A’ight, this is probably askin’ for too much, but uhh, can y’do me a favor and tell the crazy lady that y’aint see me ‘round here ?  Okay, thanks.”  They quickly flash the other a GRIN, before ducking behind a shelf full of greasy tools and scrap engine parts.
