Interesting. Then, you should try to scare me. Wouldn't that be such a challenge?

PARA: A Barking Dog Seldom Bites || Kahi & Minjun.
He had no idea what he was doing, let alone in what direction he was heading into. Minjunâs feet seemed to have a mind of their own, and so they carried him around the city of Seoul, even though the man had no particular destination in mind.
To be honest, he could care less; it didnât matter to him where he might end up or wander off to since Minjun knew he would get help from the street animals such as birds which fairly know well to tell him his way back to the inn he took refuge at, and where his puppy, Hope, was taking his sweet nap. Thus the young man didn't have to worry for himself if his feet should carry him too far. At the moment, though, the young adult felt no need to stop and go back so he continued to aimlessly wander, his body moving on its own accord in the midst of the sea of people that swarmed the streets, seemingly lost in his own silent musings.
Minjun wasnât the type to stray like this at night, when anyone or anything could be dangerous for his well being. Normally, if he wasnât with a kind soul or surrounded by some friends mother nature let him meet, he would be somewhere nearby, helping those who needed the most or searching for more information about his parents' whereabouts, quietly and subtly observing his surroundings, and tracking for any kind of suspicious piece of puzzles left.
However, the boy wasn't one who had always spent his life socializing with strangers and people in general. Some people might see him as a loner, others as a strange kid who only find interests in communicating with animals. That might also why Minjun didnât always make his presence known to anyone when he was around the corner. Again, he only appeared whenever he thinks anyone would be in need of his help, to fulfil what he grandmother thought him before. âLove begets love â If you behave lovingly to other people, they will behave lovingly to you.â
Today had been a little different though. For some reason, Minjun didn't feel like giving his services to the people at the inn. He missed his deceased grandmother. Moreover, he didn't have a clue about where his long lost mother and father whereabouts. Since, he was young he had always yearned for meeting them, but for his own security, his grandmother told him to behave as good one while patiently waiting for them to come back. He did wait, 17 years of patience. Now that his grandmother and the rest of the people in the village of his childhood died from the epidemic, the only left to him was to do something and search for his only family left. He wasn't sure if they were still alive, yet he decided to be optimist.
It was still a bit saddening, though.
Not that it mattered to him in the slightest. He didnât care. He honestly didnât care if his existence seemed disheartening and pathetic to others because it revolved around a single purpose. He just didnât.
After aimlessly wandering the city for what seemed to be an eternity, Minjun had somehow found himself stepping back into his starting point, the inn. Sighing softly, he went to sit to table situated in the far corner of the inn's cafĂŠ, then he ordered a strong americano coffee to clear up his mind, at least, he hoped so.
In the mean time, the man found himself drawing doodles on the notepad left on the table for the customers. From the short pencil he was holding, anything and everything were traced on the thin piece of paper - His grandmother's sweet and delicious pie, music notes, Hope, his beloved puppy, wild animals he encountered during all of his living until now and finally, the only symbol he knows about his parents. A symbol, any agent part of the organization they worked for, must wear proudly and engraved deep into their skin.Â
