How is syndicate by the way? No spoilers, but would you recommend it? I'm considering whether or not to buy it. :)
I’m still not finished with it yet (because responsibility likes to be unfair sometimes), but I’m loving it so far. It’s not perfect, but definitely a big step up from Unity in both storyline and gameplay. There’s a few intriguing side missions I’m going through that’s pretty much keeping me from finishing the main story. And since Victorian London is one of my favorite historical period so I’m also wasting my time reading the database entries.
I really like the fact that they put effort into things like when you’re running around as Evie, you’ll hear people say things like, “I’m keeping on eye you, miss!” or “Where did she go?” I was expecting them to be lazy and have everyone call her “him” because Jacob is technically is the “main” main character and you have to play as him to get the main story going (Evie is part of it too, but she has her own thing going on).
There’s also quite a lot of references to not only the games, but the books also (I’m not a big fan of them, but it’s fun when you recognize where the information is from).
So in short, yes. I do recommend Syndicate. (:
