Β The light was bright and warm. It was a gentle wake up call, but if only. There was a throbbing pain coming from the back of her head and her body ached like never before.Β
With a groan, the raven forced herself to sit up, despite her muscles screaming in agony. Gently placing a dainty hand on the back of her head. Flinching instantly and she hissed in pain "What the hell...". Striking green eyes scanned her surroundings "Where am I?" There was no recollection of ever entering this house, the sheer amount of dust made it clear that she didn't live there. She should get somewhere familiar.
Getting up was more painful than sitting, but she managed and made her way towards the door. An oddly familiar sense, shot through her spine. Hair standing on end and Loki wiped around, scanning every single inch of the room from her stand point. She wasn't alone, or at least she didn't feel like it.
Checking the windows to see if she could see anything outside. There was nothing but a pond and a tree line. If she ran straight through it, she should be able to find a way out. it wasn't going to be easy though, with how much pain she was in, it was going to take a lot of effort not to stop. With grim hesitation, Loki stretched a little before hopping a little; getting herself pumped.
Stepping out of the quaint little abode, making sure to set the door behind her. She wasn't sure why, but this place belonged to someone so she should respect it.
Taking a deep breath; Calming herself right before she sprinting towards the trees. Surprising herself with the speed of which she moved. She was small and in pain, how could she be able to move like that? It didn't make sense to her.
Breaching the threshold of the forest, Loki weaved through the trees, yelping occasionally as she scrapped a limb, caught a branch to the face or her hair snagged onto shrubbery. The trees blocked out most of the light, her heavy footsteps echoed through the silence. Tricking her into thinking that she was being fallowed. Her sudden rush of fear pushed her harder.
She cleared through the trees. Forcing herself to stop short, the momentum propelled her forward, stumbling and rolling forward. Fear still lining her nerves, the woman quickly scanned the forest for anything that could have followed her out. Nothing. She was safe, yet. Loki still didn't know where she was.
Panting, sweating and looking as if she just came from a horror movie. She'd catch her breath before she went to go find someone.
