Critical events in K8-33/X8-33 life
-started bioscience synth in botany
- selected to be courser (first memory wipe)
-Kell is partnered with 33 on first mission
-undefined amount of time goes by, during which it becomes increasingly obviously that Kell is getting to used to the surface and may go rouge.
-X8 follows where Kell goes, ‘convinced’ to help Kell hide their human things.
-K8 starts dreams, journals the strange experience.
-Kell leaves institute, leaves message at hiding spot for 33 to find, asks 33 to join them and leave, gives place to meet.
-X8 ordered to hunt down and retrieve Kell
-things come to a head in the alley, X8 looking down from the roof, gun drawn, and Kell moving between the two building, getting ready to move down into the sewer.
Kell looks up, sees K8, their gun, their uniform, knows what they’ve been sent to do.
X8-33 looks down, to Kelsey, and does nothing.
-Kelsey is gone.
-X8 realizes they’re dreaming.
-The sole survivor blows up the institute.
-X8 wasn’t contactable, they’d been deep underground, but not in the institute.
-‘Kate’ meets Hess
-they work odd jobs, going in the same direction (sort of) anyway, odd partnership
-K8 starts caring about Hess, as a person
-Hess might be slowing convincing X8 they’re a person
-eventually X8 succeeds in hunting down Kelsey location after the fall
