yeah this game is well known for it’s awesome and energetic soundtrack.
I actually think the SNES version beats it out for a few tracks (”Alleycat Blues” specifically), but this is The OG, so it deserves some love.

The Simpsons
this has a completely over the top orchestral soundtrack. to the extent that if it used a real orchestra it’d still sound fake just by virtue of how extreme it was.
i can’t think of a particular highlight though. “Name Entry” was my favorite but it’s both super short and super simple...
Thunder Cross II
this has some really hype boss battle type tunes
check out “He is not dead = Evil Eye”
the other tunes are alright for the most part. I think “Star Light (Stage 6 BGM)” was the standout for not-particularly-hype tunes.
