As part of the final week of Restaurant Week (which should, perhaps, be called "Restaurant Weeks,"), Drew & Ben created a list of their favorite Restaurant Week options. Our goofy mugs went out to thousands of Angelinos this afternoon in an email that looked like this:
Click the image above to see our full list of Restaurant Week picks. And here is a rundown of the restaurants that we chose along with ways to learn much, much more about them right here here on LA Foodie.
K-ZO: Jammed into a parking structure next to a Trader Joes is some for-real good sushi. Elect to order Omakase if you like to ball (and it's totally worth it, by the way), otherwise, stick to the menu.
Lola's chef, Reagan Moore, talks about his very first pet, a cat that they had to hide from his dad, on LA Foodie Podcast #021 with guest Heather Thomson.
Mo-chica: We rode the Metro Expo Line train from start to finish. We ate and drank at every stop. We made an epic podcast about the whole thing. Mo-chica was the standout winner at the Expo Park/USC stop. Please note that they are now in a new location.
Waterloo & City: Way back when, on LA Foodie Podcast #005, we chatted about Waterloo & City with our guest, Heather Thomson. (It's almost like Heather predicted Restaurant Week 2012.)
Zengo: Check out our full review of Zengo. The password is "chicken empenadas."
