Keegan stood in the door way of the house watching Nobody as he spun around in the rain. He was always so childish and innocent, it always confused him as to why the ghost spend time with him. They were nothing alike. They were like polar opposites and he was just happy that he couldn't kill him or else he would have put an end to this friendship long ago.
With wary amusement Keegan stripped his shoes off and stepped out into the rain. Catching the ghosts hand he pulled him close to him and held him in the waltz position. "If we're gonna dance, we're gonna dance properly." He smiled down at his friend, "You'll be the girl."
Not waiting for an answer Keegan started moving them in simple waltz as he hummed out the beat, enjoying how nice it felt to hold Nobdoy this close.

He paused to look at his friend. He had hardly expected the ghost to say that. He had muttered to himself that he was going to fly and Nobody seemed to have heard him. And didn't seem that happy about it.
Sure he knew that drugs were bad. But he was a vampire, it's not like he could overdose on them. They just made everything quiet and made it easier to breath without feeling the guilt that he was alive and she wasn't.
He didn't know what to say to the other. He didn't know how to explain to his friend that he needed this drug. He didn't know how to explain to himself that he needed Nobody too. So he didn't say anything, his eyes flickering from the needle in his hand and his friend.
It was a moment before he cleared his throat, "I will go." He said softly, unsure of the words he had just uttered. He had expect Nobody to look mad but he just nodded sadly and turned away. He felt guilty. He felt like he picked wrong. He wanted to take it back, he wanted to undo it. Instead his body moved on autopilot and he took the hit.
"Well, that all depends what you qualify as friends."
Keegan nodded at Nobody's words. Sometimes friend meant something different to people. For a long time he though him and Cygnus were just friends. And then one day Cygnus told him they weren't. It was weird how a couple words could just change the whole perceptive of a relationship.
He looked over to the ghost. His friend. That's what they were, wasn't it? Keegan had never been good at the whole dating thing. Outside of his wife, he had only dated Cygnus. Sure he had fucked people and he had even taken a couple out to dinner. But that was as far as the relationship before. He was just more prone to make friends than to date someone.
But this 'friendship' he had with Nobody was starting to seem a lot like the 'friendship' he had with Cygnus. He wondered if the ghost had notice. Probably not. "Nah, I think by everyone's definition I don't have many friends. And the last best friend I sort of ruined by falling in love with him." And it seemed like he was doing that all over again.

He had made the fort, all by himself. And yet Athanasia kept trying to sneak it. He would have let her in, if it wasn't for principles. So he had made a sign for his box fort. 'No girls allowed.'
