You have to make peace with that fact that you're going to be scoped out and judged. I won't kid you - it takes balls to be in the scene. Look at me! Look at the clothes I wear! You don't think I'm judged? Hell yeah I am. The difference is, I embrace it and run with it. Judge all you want baby! Everyone has been rejected at one time or another - some people more often than a telemarketer. Even the people in my house (who will remain nameless) who claim it has never happened to them. You can't fool me, I was there, dude. I saw the skid marks. You should never let fear of rejection hold you back. It's a lame excuse; rejection won't kill you, it will only make you stronger. And you can't take it that personally: maybe it's not you ... And the more you do it, the easier it gets and the better you get at it.
