Luna hasn’t known the man long since he was found sputtering blasphemes on the coast, but his charisma and enthusiasm has drawn her to him almost instantly. A fact, she can tell, that has ruffled the proprieties of several others residing in the temple. He’s so different from anyone she knows, whether it be her proud father or the stuffy priests in the clergy.

Perhaps he will find her a nuisance, too young to be bothered with, too uptight to find relief in speaking with a man of such exuberance. But, oh, how she wishes she could speak more candidly without receiving scandalized looks and insistences to hush, child! that she receives when talking with Braska. Not that those looks have stopped her before, and they certainly won’t stop her now.

“Excuse me,” she says, and after years of working towards a leadership role, her voice is not weak or embarrassed. Though soft, she speaks with an air of determination - and, perhaps, a hint of excitement that slightly widens bright blue eyes. “I heard you talking with Braska about blitzball. Do you play?” She can’t help how her hands curl slightly in front of her, wrists tucked against her stomach as if trying to contain the potential (though controlled) outburst threatening her very bones while awaiting his answer.
